The WSU men once again won the MASCAC championship and the automatic D3 NCAA bid. WPI and Clark, seeded 1 and 2 in the NEWMAC tourney, were both defeated at home by 4th ranked Babson. Unlikely that either will receive an at large bid.

Worcester State U. is playing Catholic U. in first round. Guys on roster from St. John's, Wachusett and Worcester South and Tech. One of the assistant coaches is HC's Larry Haley.

The league they're in doesn't do well in the tournament, historically. Hoping they exceed expectations.

Talking the men. WPI, Clark, Nichols (throw them in because they're in the area, and now Woo State have all consistently good programs. Some bumps along the way but the bigger picture is of success.

Nichols plays in a terrible conference also but they were the number 1 seed and were upset at home.

My team and school! Graduated in 2021. So nice to see them win back to back. Crazy ending to the game in both regulation and overtime. Sam Davies clutch 3 at the end of regulation from deep to send it to Overtime. Then the winning shot driving to the basket with 2 seconds left. Aaron Nkrumah from South High Worcester 32 points away from 1,000 in just 2 seasons.
I went to last years NCAA tournament game at Middlebury this one is just to far away.
Coach Hundley has been in the final every year since he has been the coach.

True, but they have also won several NCAA games the past few years and reached the final 8 a couple years ago.

So close! They showed the country don't take the MASCAC lightly. In that hostile environment they battled them so tough. Couldn't be more proud we are getting closer each year!
Lost 75-72 in OT.

3 Nescac schools left and the other NE survivor is Keene State.
On the ladies side, Bowdoin, Bates and I'm surprised to find out that Smith is darned good.

Smith has been pretty good for a few years. 27-3 this year and 10-1 in the Newmac. Last year they went 30-2 and lost in the final four. In 2021-22 they went 25-3.
