The big three in the Senior Class. Sophomore year they won the regular season and were heartbroken in the PLT Final, went to the WNIT. Junior year they lost the regular season but won the PLT, took a tortured bus ride or train to Maryland for the NCAA. Senior Year they won the regular season, won the PLT at home and maybe a hat trick by winning a play-in game in the NCAA. Congratulations.

‘Or train to Maryland’ ? I knew you had a thing about Amtrak when I saw your posts about our hockey team taking the train to Erie, Pa. It was well known we bussed to Maryland, the ‘only’ option after air nixed by NCAA

I think narrowing it to ground transportation is pretty good for a guy in his 70s a year after the fact.
