Not sure if we shared this in here already: BPC is in the portal. Good luck to her. Hope she winds up at a school where she is happy.

Not sure if we shared this in here already: BPC is in the portal. Exciting. Same as with Sluka, Dobbs, Avery. Almost a shame for players this four year window has to end. HC however, loses much of it's disadvantage as an undergraduate only school.

Not sure if we shared this in here already: BPC is in the portal. I hope she finds a great landing spot, she deserves it.

A Big Ten school, Wisconsin where the path has been set by Avery and the coach respects PL ball, but has little logical hope to get to the dance, or a non-power conference team with a winning program more likely to get a bid to the NCAA?

How about Iowa? Coach got a first hand look at her the other day.

How about Iowa? Coach got a first hand look at her the other day. And the’ll have at least one opening in the starting lineup.

The ECAC includes Syracuse but presumably not UConn or Paige would have been listed. I have heard the letters ECAC for sixty years but if that was my jeopardy category I'd be on the first bus home. What is the ECAC these days Alex?

Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference I knew that much and HC women’s hockey recently played in the D-3 ECAC league, it's a good D-1 M+W hockey league and MBB used to play in the ECAC regionals to try to qualify for the NCAA tournament I believe and I think there is an ECAC track meet. It's just fascinating that the organization has been around forever and it's hard to pigeon hole them. A quick trip to their website will tell me all I need to know I'm sure. The ECAC was founded in 1938, has 220 colleges in D-1,2,3 as members, is headquartered in Danbury, CT. and stretches as far as South Carolina and Missouri. Most members belong to other leagues. Interesting organization.

Interesting organization. The ECAC runs the IC4A championships in cross country and track (both indoor and outdoor) for men and the ECAC championships in those sports for women. Once upon a time, they were quite prestigious. They are not quite so important any longer. The IC4A meet is 150 years old--quite a bit older than the NCAA.
