This will open up 50-ish yard line seats for 50-ish aged fans who had been waiting for the 75-ish aged fans to retire to their TV sets.😂

Not a big fan of the switch. We will be back in our long time seats in Section 7.

If enough folks remain in their traditional seats, would TPTB change their minds and flip back?
Why can't the camera crew be instructed to use that end zone camera more frequently to pan to the south side of the field (and see all the fans in that section)? Seems like a rather drastic step to flip sides; not all change is good.

There must be something else in the works that we haven’t heard about yet. The move makes no sense. And the reasoning provided in the email is quite weak.

I think it’s fair to see how this change is recvd after we see how our fans enjoy the game from the east stands - I personally enjoy the view from there and also get a lot more sun on a typical Oct/Nov afternoon - and I am sure the tv ‘look’ will be appreciated by our fans watching on espn

I like the move as that side is closer to the field.

I thought that making it easier for fans parked on the baseball field to get into the home stands was interesting...especially so since many of them never seem to enter the stands at all.

Had a long response but before posting got lost in etherland.
Not going to re-type but one question:
Will Crucis and HC45 be switching back to the old home side now that the crowds (some, anyway) will be moving to the other, President's box, side?

Curious if people here sat on the North-side often before the 1985 refurbishing of Fitton.
The late Carlin Lynch (former HC player and coach) was always a proponent of sitting on that side.....I'm too Irish-stubborn from 50 or so years of sitting in Sections 5 or 6 to make the change myself.

I watched a couple of this last season’s games again as I’m having HC football withdrawal and noticed that they rarely show the new home stands. In two games the cameras may have shown it once. Perhaps that’s because the stands were sparsely populated and it wasn’t much to look at. But what I did notice was that they showed the old home side quite a bit. And, they zoomed in to make it appear more crowded. Whatever….i still think this change is odd.

I will determine on a game by game basis. However, I still prefer the north side.
