Anyone have a chance to watch the game or see highlights of the catch? I'm curious to see how Coker will do with Bryce Young under center rather than QB3 and QB4

Latest 53 projection I saw has Jalen as first WR off the 53. Still just behind ISM and TMJ.
Locks: D Johnson Thielen XL Mingo
Bubble but on ISM TMJ
Bubble out Coker David Moore

As has been discussed, it’s gonna be very interesting if Jalen clears waivers. I personally think he will and start week 1 on the Panthers practice squad but all it takes is one team that’s been following him closely and sees this as an opportunity to grab him, activate him for a couple weeks and then have the option to keep him on the 53 or send him to the P squad to develop for that respective franchise.

Jack Plummer hasn't really done JC any favors. Through two games, he's 22-39 for a whopping 128 yards.
Let's see if the Panthers try to give Coker some more opportunities on Saturday night.

Speaking of his 'frame', isn't Jalen closer to 6'1", 208 ? - I think we all know that does not give him an advantage in the NFL - has he fully recovered from the hamstring ?

We all know the completions are critically important, as well as his blocking, route running. salary, and a few other variables. While the prediction that he doesn't make the squad might be correct, let's wait and see.

Per local reports in CLT, he scored a great TD on pass from Dalton to end practice today.

Have any receivers really stood out? Doesn’t seem to me they have. Hard to say his stock is down when, relatively speaking, nobody really stands out.

3 Carolina Panthers undrafted free agents with best roster chances post-camp Could these undrafted free agents make the team? By Dean Jones | Aug 21, 2024 Demani Richardson Demani Richardson / Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports Jalen Coker - Carolina Panthers WR The Carolina Panthers' wide receiver room is extremely crowded. That wasn't the case last season, so it cannot be seen as anything other than positive for quarterback Bryce Young heading into a crucial second season with the franchise. Young's developing some encouraging chemistry with his primary pass-catchers. The dominoes are starting to fall in terms of depth chart standing, but there's still time for those on the fringes to alter narratives. Jalen Coker fits into this category. The Panthers allocated a decent undrafted free-agent contract to Coker, who got significant interest from elsewhere. There have been flashes of immense promise from the Holy Cross product. Whether it's enough to unseat others vying for roster spots is up for debate. Coker was always going to be a slow burner. He's a crisp route runner who's got assured hands. Not having top-end NFL speed was his detriment pre-draft. His minimal contribution over Carolina's first two preseason contests only raises the stakes further heading into what might be his final week with the organization. Diontae Johnson, Adam Thielen, first-rounder Xavier Legette, and Jonathan Mingo will make it. Terrace Marshall Jr.'s summer renaissance improves his chances. Ihmir Smith-Marsette's versatility should see him included. That leaves Coker competing with players such as David Moore and Mike Strachan for the other position if Carolina takes through seven wideouts. The Panthers are in a predicament of sorts with Coker. Dan Morgan will be acutely aware that placing him on waivers in the hope of stashing him on the practice squad could see another team put in a claim. He was one of the hottest coveted undrafted free agents for a reason. But his inclusion on the roster means someone else would have to be made surplus to requirements. Coker should get plenty of work against the Buffalo Bills in Carolina's preseason finale. How he performs could make the difference between securing his place or being cast aside entirely. catcrave.com/posts/3-carolina-panthers-undrafted-free-agents-best-roster-chances-post-camp-2024/3

I was fortunate to watch the Panthers-Pats live and saw the replay of the Panthers-Jets snoozefest on NFL network. That QB is horrific. Mostly dump offs. I hope he connects with Bryce Young tomorrow vs the Bills.

Will be at the game tomorrow. Wife and her family are huge Bills' fans (Pats' fan here) and bringing the 4 year old for indoctrination.
I will be wearing my HC gear since it provides some purpose to attending a pre-season NFL game of teams that I do not support.
Will see if I can ever get close enough to get any decent photos.

Has he ever had an easier touchdown catch? What speed! Allegedly, that's Jalen's "flaw" that he doesn't have "NFL speed." Most see that is offset by his ability to get open and great hands. But agree that this one looked like one of his easiest TD catches ever.
