I don’t want to put too much pressure on the young student-athlete but I can’t help but notice that an anagram of FEROAH is A HOFer….

The blocks and rebound totals leap off the page. I wonder what offers he got out of high school??? Looks like he moves well and has a lot of skills. Only caveat seems to be the competition on that video did not seem to offer much, shall we say, length? Even the PL has bigger folks than that.

As an athletic stretch 4, he was and should continue to be a difficult matchup for most 4 defenders, in and out of the PL.

there is something unique about his style and play that will be very interesting for PL coaches to address. I would love to see another few hours of film, but so far, I say it is a very solid get for us; adding Warren to a very strong freshmen class, I will go out on a limb and say the PL better prepare for the next few years. By 2026 if others don't adjust, we replace Colgate .....

Assuming HC can start funding and distributing NIL money so we don't become a breeding ground to develop other team's players - other teams where there are larger NIL funds available.
Might it be time for HC to hire one person in charge of raising NIL funds from sources other than primarily our alumni? This is one area where we don't want to be the last PL school to do this. I am thankful that we have three men who have already gotten this process started. They have my sincere thanks.

I will answer that 2 years from now. Great answer. Can anyone recall HC ever having a hoops player from Utah? I can’t. no, but I recall an offer to guy maybe 10 yrs ago who I thought was from Utah. His mother posted once or twice very favorably about HC but he was taking a PWO to somewhere like Utah State. Maybe these sketchy details will inspire someone to straighten out the story.

I like his footwork around the hoop, he makes a few spin moves look so easy. His jumper is solid, and I like the way he attacks the rim of the bounce.

We have no idea about the level of play in the NWAC and it appears the young man had no offers coming out of high school so I think I will lean heavily into taking a wait and see approach to this signing.

He did make 2nd team All State in 2022 in Utah when he averaged 11 points and 7 rebounds. The level was 6A and there were 6 players selected for each of the 3 all state teams in the 6 divisions.

Is there any easy way of learning where the best NWAC players from past seasons ended up after their two years in JUCO?
EDIT- 21-22 POY Isaac Jones 22-23 played at Idaho 19.4 PPG 23-24 played at Wash State 15.3 PPG
22-23 POY Kyson Rose 23-24 played at Idaho 6.6 PPG in 19 minutes per game

I will guess he did not get any significant NIL money to sign with Holy Cross as he and his supporters seem overjoyed to have a D-1 scholarship in "the bright lights of the Patriot League."
A junior college transfer is similar to a graduate transfer from an undergraduate only school like Holy Cross. I hope we are getting a hustle guy like Butler or Sluka who completed all their commitments to HC, earned their degree and moved on with the same enthusiasm they played here with.
Our new forward isn't arriving with any baggage of discord or disgruntlement at his last stop. That's worth something right there. Good on DP for shepherding him through admissions.

I'll be happy if the kid can help out with defense and rebounding, areas where they really need to get better at.
General consensus seemed to be that he wasn't a D1 prospect coming out of hs......but that doesn't mean he isn't now.
Now, I know he won't, but if CDP ever wanted to throw Green in at pg for a few minutes, he could put a lineup out there where everyone was right around the same size (height wise, that is): Green, Warren, Richard, Feroah and Kenney.

Hopefully Mr Feroah will be on campus in June of some summer workouts. Perhaps a sneaky person could break into Hart and see how he does going against his D-I teammates.

He looks to be athletic and moves his feet which hopefully translates to his defensive movement. His rebounding and blocks are also good indicators. Even if Declan/Hare play he should be a fit at SF. If he's good we may have a legitimate "big" lineup for a few minutes with either him or Nugent and the Ryan/Hare and Kenney group. We'll see.

Do not forget Warren in that mix do you see Warren as a potential 4, or do you just mean he's another tall player at guard or SF? I would think Jaiden was brought in as a juco xfer because he's thought to be a 4 and ready to contribute immediately at that position. I'm sure there's a plan but the number of guys competing for the 2-3 minutes will be large.

I see Warren as a player that will contribute in multiple ways offensively (roles/positions) and be an asset on defense

I am unsure of positions, but Warren’s high school and high level grass roots success against strong competition should assure him of minutes, probably at the 3 or possibly the four.

Finally feels like we're putting together a collegiate basketball team with sufficient size (& hopefully skill). No disrespect to our recent former players, but it really feels like we've been undersized since the Milan Brown days (you could argue the early Carmody days...Brown's recruits).

Hopeful for Feroah, but like any kid who has never played against NCAA competition, I'm going to pull a Missouri "show me" and reserve judgement until I see this kid in person

I'm awaiting his sophomore leap (hope it's not a slump) and mildly surprised he seems to be getting short thrift in some roster projections.

DP felt he was one of the two players who showed the most in spring practice.
