Saw on his HC baseball profile that he's majoring in mathematics and economics. Wonder what his disenchantment was. He is a full pay. Putting aside whether he is looking for a full / partial scollie, if he can land at a Power Five school, they he gets paid under the NCAA settlement. I am not sure BC has the money to be dishing out $20 million to its athletes every year. If every one of 600 rostered athletes received an equal share of $20 million, that's about $33,000 each. I will leave it the NCAA to figure out whether a payout to everyone on a football roster, say 105 players, means they all get an equal share. If so, the walk-ons would now be receiving fin aid indirectly. And what happens to the hard cap of 85? Inquiring minds want to know. Toomey ends up at BC

Seems correct as he’s playing for the Sanford Mainers this summer and he’s not included in the story today about where our players are spending their summer in various collegiate leagues.

Toomey has moved to bc? Thanks for your fine play at Holy Cross. At bc I hope you hit into a double play or pop out on every at bat.

Alex Bryant who was our no. 1 weekend pitcher at the end of the season has graduated and has committed to BC for his grad/covid year - we are definitely acting as the farm system for the Eagles

Scanlon is a rising senior and has very slim stats from the ‘24 season because of his broken arm. He could get an injury redshirt year and have 2 years eligibility left. Let’s hope he stays for his sr year at HC and takes a 5th yr elsewhere

I have no idea how accurate the attached list is on patriot league baseball transfers, but it looks like HC and Lafayette are both struggling in that area.

We know Toomey and Bryant are headed to BC for good reason but all those others are not significant losses - very little playing time last season
