Stephen Brown is fabulous. On the Ken Pom site Brown has recently joined Foulland and Thomas on his All-PL team

Bucknell's next loss won't come until the NCAA Tournament. As long as they are not spooked by Robert Champion Corner at Sjoika Pavilion.

Yes, lol. That was quite the shot that threw a huge monkey wrench in their plans that season.

Villanova's Jalen Brunson is really a great player, doesn't have tremendous athleticism but gets wherever he wants to on floor with head and shoulder fakes. Jay Wright has done a fabulous job at Villanova.

Jehyve is better than Klinewski.

Klinewski is an exceptional 3 point shooter and he gets to the line a lot and is deadly there. JF is unstoppable inside and is a much, much better shot blocker. I don't know how KenPom makes his selections--maybe just a computer algorithim???

Pomeroy certainly is not watching PL games on his computer

I don't know how KenPom makes his selections--maybe just a computer algorithim??? Klinewski leads the PL in efficiency and FT%, 2nd in ppg, 2nd in win shares, 3rd in ORtg, 3rd in DR% - pretty impressive stat-wise Jehyve's not a top-tier rebounder, and his limited range and poor free-throw shooting hamper his standing as well. Other good bigs (Gregory, Wilson, Rayman, Mahoney, Lacey) deserve and will get consideration come award time.

"Graduate transfer who played two seasons at Lehigh and earned his undergraduate degree in three years ... Eligible to play immediately."

I don't know how KenPom makes his selections--maybe just a computer algorithim??? Yes, just a computer algorithm. As for 1st team All-PL, I think four of the five spots may be taken: Foulland, Thomas, Walker, and Brown (if he continues playing as he has the past few weeks). Klinewski, Fox, Hankerson (if he returns soon at 100%), Ross (only if he starts to play up to his ability), and a couple of others may be in the running for the last spot. Fwiw, Klinkewski overall has a big statistical advantage over Floyd overall. Jehyve would have to do really well the last eight games to close the gap. Klinewski has a large edge in ORating, assists, avoiding turnovers, avoiding fouls, drawing fouls, FT shooting, and 3-point shooting (hitting .470 on 83 attempts). Floyd has a big edge in effective FG pct (but not in "true shooting pct", which factors in fouls drawn), blocks, steals, and 2-point FG pct. Floyd has a small edge in rebounding.

I'll be happy if Jehyve just keeps playing the way that he has been......... a second team selection would be a nice accomplishment. And we get him back for another year to boot.

Today: Bucknell 44 @ BU 32 (Halftime) Bucknell is really good and with a long bench!
Had to laugh though when the announcer (not Mo C.) referred to my favorite official as "Bruce McCarthy" when he was talking to Bucknell coach Nathan Davis! !
Someone tell him his name is Bill McCarthy!
I thought he referred to him as “Cruise” or “Crews” McCarthy and was wondering if Bad Bill had some heretofore unknown nickname!

LaSalle fans don't seem too thrilled about joining the PL ... they also feel they're a better fit in the MAAC if they did switch conferences. Same A10 dilemma as Fordham, lousy facilities and tough to win

Let's trade places with LaSalle on a trial basis.

Interesting read. My favorite quote about La Salle basketball in the A-10 "It is competitive. It just isn’t successful." That is a huge distinction. Might them be a good fit in the PL? IMHO, if they again started fotball, I would say yes. If they are coming to simply try to dominate basketball and let their "minor" sports be "cannon fodder" for other PL teams, they are not needed.

Yes the role of PL canon fodder for minor sports is already taken by Holy Cross!😉

One of the options Not sure if that was a troll, but if some consulting group suggested that, they clearly do not know what they are talking about. Lacrosse is one thing. but you can't play D-I hoops and D-III everything else

With or without football, they are not a fit at all. Their academics are awful. The great majority of the players they recruit could not fit in under the academic index.
