Good for Milan! Hopefully he'll see more wins as an assistant there than Willard did as the head guy. Even that will be an uphill battle in today's ACC.

Brown's first coaching job was as an assistant to Capel's late father at ODU.

Tim O’Toole from Fairfield also on the Pitt staff. I thought he was out of basketball but apparently he joined Pitt from Cal where he was the Associate Head Coach.

I’m not crazy! O’Toole was out of coaching from 2006 when he was fired at Fairfield to 2013 when he re-entered coaching as the DBO at Syracuse.

I’m not crazy! O’Toole was out of coaching from 2006 when he was fired at Fairfield to 2013 when he re-entered coaching as the DBO at Syracuse. Your logic is flawed. This is not a case of IF B THEN A. Statement 1 can be false even if statement 2 is true

MB disciple Jamion Christian leaves MSM for Siena

MB disciple Jamion Christian leaves MSM for Siena Looks like this deal might actually be done - finally - after dozens of erroneous articles and hundreds of bogus tweets over the past week.. One incompetent Albany writer had Christian hired last week at a point when Siena had yet to even make him an offer. Christian's first D1 job was on the staff of Pat Flannery, where he also worked with Nathan Davis. Not sure how much of a MB disciple he was. Christian's head coach for his first three years at MSM was Jim Phelan. MB became the HC for his last year, but Christian missed almost all of that year due to injury. Christian never coached under MB.

Good luck to Coach E (as long as he doesn't play HC (or even HC opponents where his good fortune would work against HC's RPI) Two of the other finalists were PL assistants: Bucknell's John Griffin and Army's Ben Wilkins. I seem to recall hating Griffin as a player

I seem to recall hating Griffin as a player I felt the same way at times. Very good players, especially with the who show "attitude" at times, can inspire real dislike in their opponents.
