What will be the effect of a 2 week hiatus on the HC team when we face a strong Navy team on Saturday ? Well, they had a 4 month hiatus before the U. of Houston series and that went pretty well, so...

How about a Friday bus ride from Worcester to Annapolis, a bus ride from Annapolis to Lewisburg and a bus ride from Lewisburg to Worcester. Insanity! Nate the Great, are you reading this? Could not be dumber.

How do you know that Nate was in favor of this new format ? Suppose there's a story behind this, and I agree it's crazy. AWP is our travel partner, and they also have a tough travel program - they bus to Lewisburg for a dh on Saturday, then head down to Annapolis for the dh there on Sunday.
Each team has one crazy travel weekend like this during the season. Otherwise it's more palatable by staying in one venue for the weekend

I hope and pray Nate was not in favor of this. It is stupid beyond belief. But once he saw what was being done he should’ve stepped up and said “no freaking way. “

Individual AD's at the league schools do NOT set the skeds. There is an obvious reason for that which apparently you don't understand. AD's/coaches can lobby for changes. Sometimes they get them, sometimes they don't. You should know this. Or likely you just cant resist yet another unwarranted blast at NP hoping your couple of sycophants will eat it up.

As you say, the AD's do not set the schedule. I don't like the 25-game schedule - but it was something the coaches wanted, likely including the HC coach. They asked the league to switch to the 25-game schedule.
Given the requirement of playing 25 games, I think I would lean towards something like two home 5-game series (one Friday, two Saturday, two Sunday), two away 5-game series, and one pairing with three home games on a weekend and two away games on a Wednesday (or vice versa)

You mean the athletic director is not the ultimate decider on scheduling of his sports? This is the worst scheduling I have ever seen holy cross involved in and we do some pretty dumb scheduling.

How many times do you need to be told: league brass sets the skeds for league games in every conference in the country, so do us all a solid: bitch to the PL league offices instead of bashing the wrong people.

So the patriot league decided to subvert 25+ years of history to set up a ferkakta schedule without any input from the schools? You are kidding me right? Some school(s) had to advocate for it. I believe it was one power school that got its way.

If input from all PL schools was heeded and all PL schools needed to give a draft thumbs up before a league sked was generated, it would never get completed.

PL pitcher of the year, Connor Van Hoose of Bucknell was drafted on Monday in the 8th round by the Yankees. He graduated last month so he's definitely going to sign (juniors who get drafted obviously don't have to sign) - congrats to him, well deserved
