Contact period is underway -- just three weeks until the early signing day.
Chris Butash has been a solid commit from the beginning.

Continuing to recruit and pay attention to our existing commits will be a focus for the next 3 weeks in addition to landing new recruits.

Just curious but does anyone know what materials we use to sell HC to potential recruits?

Does that help or hurt?

The question was "What materials do WE use?", not "What do other schools use to recruit against us?"

Just curious but does anyone know what materials we use to sell HC to potential recruits? Go to goholycross.com. On the top bar, click on "Recruits." There is a wide variety of information available there.

Thanks for that reminder, breezy. I assume that "read CROSSPORTS" is not there.

Thx Breezy. I've seen that. Guess my point is HC should be have capacity to produce more customized pitches to potential recruits rather than just cookie cutter info packs. JHU does this for lacrosse.

Understood. If there is something more (and there probably is), like printed materials, I do not know anything about it.

No wonder we've been having trouble! The promo video HC uses on PL broadcasts has not changed in years. All those appearing in the video have graduated. It was produced at a time when HC70 was still waiting for that first truck going up the hill. And as I have ancestral links to County Cork and County Wexford, I can say that a cast with three Irish names is probably not the best demographic if you're trying to broaden your recruiting and enrollment base. At least they didn't include one of 'sota's seminarians.

I do wonder why that one girl with her violin is still asking the same question. Did she ever get an answer before she graduated? Of course, it does have a good visual appeal and those seeing it for the first time might find it interesting. How about a part 2 with some different folks involved?

Or a part 2, what they are doing now to pursue their career ambitions. Life at and after HC and how HC has prepared them doing the 4 years.

It does appear that Holy Cross is very serious in pursuit of DL recruit CLETUS MATHURIN. (See page 33 of this thread.)

Glad to see 3 coaches including CBC with the Dobbs home visit. Detroit Free Press article on Monday or Tuesday said that Dobbs was considering Michigan as a “preferred” walk-on. Hopefully, we can hang on with him until 12/19. He could be a difference maker at LB for us and, as ge mentioned, was a standout in the Division 2 state championship game.
