I never remember who is when and now there is speculation about a Big Ten opponent in 2021 in another thread. To help us keep it straight, I’m starting a new thread with the confirmed opponents and dates of which I am aware.
9/8/18 - Boston College 8/31/19 - Navy 9/28/19 - Syracuse 10/31/20 - Boston College 9/2/21 - UConn
If others are confirmed that I am missing, please add them.

I remember hearing this but can’t find it confirmed anywhere. What was the source again? NP statement at an alumni function?

Thanks. Just makes me nervous that we haven’t seen anything more official since he made the comment. Army already has multiple confirmed games on its 2023 schedule.
09/23 - at Syracuse 10/28 - UMass 11/18 - Coastal Carolina 12/09 - Navy (site TBA) TBA - at Air Force
Maybe we’re still working through a mutually acceptable date. Once we have a firm commitment, I would expect a press release.

It as mentioned by Pine in a speech to a gathering at the Ryan room during an alumni weekend. Don't remember when exactly, and I hope the news hasn't changed

Chesney casually mentions the Terps in his lengthy interview on this site, and an insider of a sort recently (and equally casually) mentioned a certain school that beat our basketball team at Memorial Hall in Bloomington in the 1977 NCAA tournament. I believe their gridders play in a spot known as the "Large Domicile".

(edit) But they don't, they did have one and then rescinded it.

Picking up from the Chesney interview thread, here is The OSU's 2021 schedule, also with four home games. Michigan, Maryland, Penn State, and Ohio State could all schedule a FCS school in 2021.
Sept. 4 at Minnesota Sept. 11 Oregon Sept. 18 Tulsa Sept. 25 TBD Oct. 2 at Nebraska Oct. 9 Purdue Oct. 16 Open Date Oct. 23 at Rutgers Oct. 30 Michigan State Nov. 6 at Indiana Nov. 13 Maryland Nov. 20 Penn State Nov. 27 at Michigan _________________ Maryland's TBD opponent date is September 11 Michigan September 4 and September 18 Ohio State September 25 Penn State September 25

4 of the next 5 years at Philly. 2021 at Giants Stadium (or whatever it's called now), in honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11. First time ever there, was in the old Meadowlands stadium a few times.
Other sites used recently are DC and Baltimore, so I guess those could reappear in the future.
Has only been played on an academy site in the 1890s and during WW2 (1942 and 43)

In the tradition of the Los Angeles Angels/California Angels/Anaheim Angels/Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Army has renamed themselves Army West Point. This has reduced confusion with other armies

Got it. Rebranding. I’ll stick with Army though. Let’s make it two wins in a row whenever we do play them.
Looks like HC has some rebranding to do as well.
