Playing home games on Shelter Island must be quite an experience for Alex. Very short ferry ride from Long Island. Beautiful place.
Our three Cape Cod guys are all playing for Falmouth. I'm assuming they'll be among our strongest performers next year (Masel, Cronin, McGowan).
Making a crazy prediction I think our pitching will be very good v PL competition next year and a couple of hitters will do very well v PL competition.

True—one of the relatively unchanged beauties in the last 60 years. The HS playing field leaves much to be desired and there will be mobs of golf fans this week as the Open is a ferry ride across Peconic Bay.

Nice to see wooden bats, the way baseball should be played. "The ping of the bat" just doesn't have the ring of "the crack of the bat."
