Super. I took a country drive through Thompson Hill recently. Marianapolis is tucked in among many old stately homes and there is a large one being rehabbed right in front of the campus entrance. The mill owners lived on the hill and the factory workers lived down by the river in the North Grosvenordale section of Thompson. The tweet says that the students gathered yesterday. If Power Cassidy was on campus and the others were, too I wonder if Marianapolis as a private day and boarding school with foreign students chose to stay open during the pandemic?
If Power Cassidy has had daily access to a basketball gym she is farther ahead of WNBA bound Lauren Manis, and most other players. Is there any way to determine if this retention is a credit to Coach Mo or if the signing was never in doubt and just waited for the official school signing day with classmates?

More of a contsrained British exuberance than Irish, but shows she will be playing under control. Welcome to Holy Cross!

I think she is back in Ireland, based on some previous tweets by her coach

rgs318- I broke my own rule. I have posted in the past that I try to avoid sarcasm for precisely the reason you state above, i.e., it can be difficult at times to know whether a post is serious or sarcasm, and thereby leads to confusion.

Well, likely won't hear anything interesting this week as May 4-10 recruiting is shutdown.

So we may hear about new signed LOIs starting again on Monday? Which of our verbal commits still need to sign a LOI?

Just clean-up this thread a bit of some way off topic discussion.

So we may hear about new signed LOIs starting again on Monday? Which of our verbal commits still need to sign a LOI? All of our known 2020 recruits (4) have now signed a NLI. Obviously, Power-Cassidy is on board after the coaching change, probably fair to say so is Davis as her tweeter acc't still has her HC commit pinned. The only unknowns are McCormack & Allen to the extend of whether either has de-committed since MM was named. I also believe they are still looking to add a big to this class.

Just to be clear, I believe once they sign they can't decommit. HC can release them from their commitment however

Brogan to the Irish! How appropriate. In what part of Ireland did the Pivnicka clan reside?

Just to be clear, I believe once they sign they can't decommit. HC can release them from their commitment however True. But at a school like HC, they would eventually be released if they didn't want to attend. The only question would be how long the process would take. Many times a school won't grant a release until a new coach is on board and has a chance to meet with the player. Also there are possible avenues available for those who choose to decommit and are not given a release: 1. D3 programs are not part of the NLI program. 2. Ivy League is not part of the NLI program, nor are the Service Academies. 3. Juco's and NAIA schools are not part of the NLI program. 4. An athlete can appeal to the NLI Committee, which can grant relief if extenuating circumstances exist. 5. An athlete can go to another school and pay her own way. Must sit out the first year.

Where do I send my tuition payment for the Bison 137 Academy? I might be able to look up this info in the Official NCAA rules, but it wouldn't be explained as well as it is here.

Nice write-up! She appears to be a recruit who could be a leader (and winner) in every regard.

Is Magarity on the payroll yet? - have to assume she is - then what's happening with adding to next year's roster - if we assume Faulkner is coming back on a part time basis (same as last 2 seasons), I would hope that she's trying to grab another body for next season - anyone know of any prospects ?

I got nothing. I would expect a lot of action over the next week or so for any 2020 out there and especially 2021's as it appears the summer AAU season is going to be very limited so I think you'll see a lot of kids jumping on current offers.
