Any report on Cozier or Alexander ? Pretty sure it was Cozier who had his (right?) arm in a sling on the sidelines but he was very into the game and didn’t seem to be in a lot of obvious pain.

Had to find it on ESPN Attendance—7397 Somewhat disappointing ? Very disappointing, but let's see if this huge comeback win generates increased awareness and purchase interest in our target consumers for the Dartmouth game. Can we break 10,000 for Dartmouth?

According to the box score temperature: 76 weather: mostly cloudy.
Mostly cloudy? Whoever does the boxscore obviously wasn't sitting in the stands.

I tend to doubt it....week following is Homecoming...actually 7,397 is a decent, non-event crowd at the FCS-level these days...I know this was a Ring of Honor game but it's still Summah, many went to BC last week, many probably plan on going to Homecoming in a couple weeks etc etc....Dartmouth only drew a little ovah 4K today. Make no mistake...today's win was huge but I don't think it instantly transforms into big crowds at Fitton.....it's going to take some time.

My favorite quote from the T&G article: “ I don’t think one person on the sideline thought we couldn’t do this regardless of what the score was,” said Chesney, who earned his first victory as Holy Cross coach. “That’s what we’re most proud of.”

The video interviews were most professional. Having a video recap while the coach and players speak was great effect. I hope some of our recruits get to see it. Goeff Wade LOOKED every bit the warrior and spoke as a leader. Was Bell's return after limping off big? Yes. IMO, no one on this team will ever sit down or walk away willingly. Ng's confidence is amazing for a young athlete. I have to think that starts at the top and flows down to every Holy Cross player.

Most improved player Joe Lang—played in one game as a frosh last year—2 tackles yesterday—11 tackles, 10 solo, 24 this season

Has there ever been a better executed onside kick? The kid that caught the ball looked like he was receiving a "pass" "thrown" by the kicker! Just awesome!
Looks like Wade just needed to get some extended reps to get comfortable. Some nice decisions on the option, and a few beautifully thrown balls.
I'm not sure if the guys are better conditioned than their opponents or not.....but it's pretty clear they are supremely confident in the 4th quarter- really physical!
Wandering around the back of the Hart early, got an impromptu tour of the football offices by DC Scott.....other coaches took a moment to say hello. Really nice gesture I thought, especially on game day. They ALL seem to get it!
Now if they can just get off to better starts......and speaking of that, it was kind of disappointing (at least to me) to look out on the baseball field in the SECOND quarter and see dozens of people still outside the stadium. I just will never get that.....to each their own, I guess.
Keep the momentum going!

As closely as I follow the team I found myself jumping into the roster to check on him as I did not recall Joe from last year, and finding that he was just a soph and had played only the one game as you note. He had 5 solos and 3 assists versus Colgate and 4 & 1 versus bc, but this game was a real stat stuffer.

On Y's 3rd TD, a 4th down pass, TV guy made the comment that they passed up a FG try because no confidence in long distance kicker.
In field position type games Ng will be huge.

Was nice to see HC being the aggressor at the end, rather than trying nervously to hang on, as in seasons past.

I'm no expert, but in the past what we would normally see is a fake handoff to Dudek, the star runner who has to make this play, on the 4th down play, and the QB could walk into the endzone. So thanks for not trying that. And wow, just a month ago I couldn't pronounce Ng. Cannot believe what he just did!

I knew Joe Lang had the potential to be a top-of-the-line defender from the time he was recruited. Florida HS football is top-notch and he earned some nice accolades as a HS player. He has solid football instincts and I have heard that he is one of the fastest players on the team. Not at all surprised that he has emerged as a star defender. I also think that the revised defensive line-up (using 5 defensive backs) has been to his advantage.

Right you are, NAD. But what made that possible, and I want to watch the replay of the entire game, was an outstanding block to shield a Yale player from getting to the ball first. Happened too fast and too excited about watching the catch/recovery to see the number of the player who made the block. Another necessary comment from my perspective: we have some truly great recruited freshmen in Ng and others but as others have posted, we have very fine sophomore players like Lang and a couple of offensive linemen that were recruited by TG. But now they are "Chesney's guys" as it should be. Always told new managers, you are responsible for developing not just the people you hire but the people you inherited. Chesney is doing it right. Again, though, let's not spot the opponents 21 points every game!

The one thing that stands out to me right now: it seems like that after only 3 games the team has already taken on Coach's personality.....very powerful imho, especially for someone coming UP the ranks (as opposed to say, someone who had been an assistant in the pros, or from a P5 school). Really impressive.
