Just finished watching Northeastern defeat St.Bonnie's, Northeastern showed off it's new video board, largest in the Northeast at a cost of 3.4Million. I'm sure the Hart Center could use a less expensive video board for us fans to show replays like yesterday game winning block.

95 mill was hardly backward, even if you think it was not spent well

Northeastern has the board b/c Matthews Arena is also home to the hockey teams. That makes it worthwhile. Makes zero sense for anything of that ilk for a single-sport at HC.

FDU up by 8 over UMass, 1/2

There are many schools who have video boards even though the arena is not also used for hockey. Loyola(MD) has a fine jumbo screen and I believe that Bucknell also has a video board. If you watch college BB on TV please notice how many have video without hockey.

FDU up by 8 over UMass, 1/2 UMass came back to win by 1 (85-84). Nice effort by the FDU Knights.

Watching Bucknell vs URI After watching our last few games and a handful of other PL games it is clear that our opponents are doing a better job of scouting and taking away passing lanes and looking to take away clean looks at the 3
Puts a premium on execution and tweaking the offense to breakdown the defense
Should be a very exciting conference this year and while not the league most of us want, the PL is getting better and the top half is getting closer to being more competitive with the top 100

Loyola also has two very large screens, one at each end of the court

Princeton just beat no.17 Arizona St. 67-66 in Tempe. The tigers are not the favorites in the ivy and are hovering around .500 in their ooc games

This same Princeton team lost to FDU at home by 10 points. Second impressive win for the Ivy this year following Penn's win over 'nova. Let's see how Columbia does tomorrow against Northwestern.

Hartford just knocked off BC 79-78 in ot. Up 3, BC fouled a 3 pt shooter with 5 seconds left in regulation. He makes the 3 ft’s to send fame into ot. Bad way for the eagles to begin acc play.

We should offer them a 2 for 1.
2 at the Hart. 1 at the DCU.
When their program gets better, we can discuss maybe going to Conte.

Excellent outcome! bc was 84% to win that game in KenPom's estimation. bc has played 9 home, 2 neutral, and 1 away game in OOC play.

Monmouth, with an 0-12 record, just beat a good Penn team in the Palestra. Pomeroy had Penn as a 25-point favorite.

Just to stir it up as 2018 comes to a close: Data, datum, stats, etc. . . . . . baloney. Game is won or lost on the court. Lots of "pseudo-science" but too many variables for anyone or any organization to accurately and consistently predict outcomes. Discuss. [Have I got you math majors' juices flowing yet?]

Monmouth played well enough and Penn was down two of the big guys. It is hard to believe they were 0-12 coming into the game
