Maybe because Harvard is Harvard In addition to its uber elite status, it means playing in Boston against a team that has had fairly good computer rankings for most of the last decade. URI also has an ongoing H&H with them and still has yet to return the Crimson at Harvard (return game has been delayed).

With the way this thread has wandered, I feel a bit lost. ...who or what does this describe?

1) The fan reaction to Caleb returning in street clothes 2) A commentary on our woeful attendance that probably won't be helped by another re-building year? 3) Definitely a funny take by nhteamer.

Canisius released their OOC games today and we’re at Canisius on Saturday dec 14th - maybe we’ll play them twice as discussed here they’re in the same bracket in Boca Raton

I like this tradition of an annual "Ernie Banks Series" (Let's play two!) against a NY State OOC opponent. As long as we keep sweeping the series.

Sacred Heart released their OOC, and it's not good news for those of us in the ny metro area - we do play them but the game is in Worcester on Sunday Dec 22. We may piece together our OOC slate before the school sends out a release !

Maybe we asked for a switch (we'll go down there the next 2 years) to give us an extra home game (only have 3 confirmed).
I still don't know why we play them every...….single...…..year (not being elitist, but there are many other schools we've haven't played in a while, and yet we seem to have a lifetime agreement with them).

Some years they were the only NY Metro area opponent. So far there are none for this season.

I had planned to get to SHU to see our "new edition" team and coach. Darn.

Is Whittenburg on the Board of Directors at Fordham? Why can't we get a game with them?

SoS is pretty much money, so I'd say it's safe to make travel plans for those who want to go.

Some years they were the only NY Metro area opponent. So far there are none for this season. Maybe one year we'll play at UVM and the NY metro fans can take the same train the Veterans took to honor the General in "White Christmas."☺️

Should be a good back story to the late addition to the schedule. Our new coach doesn't lack confidence.

HC was a game short and has been looking to add a "name" away game before Nelson was hired. Not sure how doing so, whether it be UMD or a different school translates into "not lacking confidence" by Nelson.

Unconfirmed report: HC to open '19-'20 campaign at Maryland. Rothstein and others pick Maryland second in the Big 10 to pre season national #1 Michigan State i'm obviously thrilled if true for a variety of reasons. turgeon is an atrocious game coach and is wildly unpopular here in maryland, but the terps always have a lot of talent and this would be a heck of a ballsy way for nelson and admb to open up their tenure. love it!

We went to a HC vs Maryland game back when RW was the coach. Looked to be a really good game but we ended up with some injuries at that time that did not help the situation! We had really good seats behind the HC bench but the view of the game quickly deteriorated when it became obvious that the student section to the right of us never sat down! We complained to the usher that we paid good money for these seats and now cannot see a good part of the game due to their standing! She turned and said something to the effect of oh well they do stand for the entire game! Needless to say we quickly found some other seats! However, the Maryland Crab Cakes were delicious!!! !
