I was going for the cheap laugh assuming the two Tom's were Heinsonhn and I and Gola was just some after thought Brings back fond memories of Dave Zinkoff: "Gola Goal" , "A Pair for Share" , "Two for Shue" , "Dipper Dunk" , "Wally By Golly" and "That was a Howell Foul!"

I like the stories of the Phillies baseball broadcasters, Richie Ashburn and his partner, and their underhanded ways of promoting a local pizza place in exchange for the delivery of free pies mid-game.

About 15 or so years ago, I came across an old sports trivia book that had an intriguing question in it. I don't remember the actual question, but yhe anseer was Heinsohn, and the intro to the quesrion was, "A Duquesne transfer, this player..."
Is anyone aware of Heinsohn transferring to HC from Duquesne?
