Looks like a credit rather than a refund is the policy of the SJU administration. That's ridiculous. And also likely unenforceable. I suspect that Princeton could get a refund if he so chose.

Brown was looking for a game tomorrow on Mike Martin's Twitter...not sure how to embed that here UNH was looking also...

If I were the coach I'd ask the players if they wanted to play another game on short notice. Their answer would tell me a lot about the team's mindset... Good idea to be courteous and ask, but it's actually not an additional game. The players and coaches were set to play tomorrow so my guess is they all would be in favor for less travel and a higher chance of winning unless someone already changed their plane reservations or something. Between Brown and UNH I hope they get a game in and knock the winless D-1 OOC monkey off their back.

If St. Joe's cancelled isn't that a forfeit? I'm not advocating for one; I just thought that was the rule.

Brown’s available date is tomorrow, Wednesday The clock is winding down. Need to get refs, etc. Should be a few refs available

Playing a game Thursday would make sense rather than Wednesday...More time to set up all the logistics..

I don't believe our St Joe's game is considered a forfeit....it is in certain conferences, PC gets a 2-0 W ovah Georgetown tomorrow because the Big East determined these would be forfeits.

I think you are correct. The rules are set up on a conference level.

Winless in the non-conference for the first time in program history? HC has 2 OOC winsIn the words of John McEnroe, "You cannot be serious!"

I most certainly am serious. Even McEnroe knows a win is a win. If you don't think so, "You cannot be serious!"

By the way, if you go to Mount St Vincent's web site, they list the game with HC incorrectly as an "Exhibition" game.

Wonder if there's ever been a D3 school that faced two former D1 NCAA champions (HC, CCNY) and a final four team (NYU) in the same season.

Not incorrect. NCAA rules allow a D2/D3 school to consider a game with a D1 program as an exhibition, even if the D1 school considers it an official game. This happens often.

Maybe "vs. peer schools" or "OOD" could be helpful. So we are 2-10 (0-10 vs. peer schools), and we are 0-10 OOC (2-0 OOD).
I feel better already.

We play the same way every game and get the same result. Some have defined this approach as insanity. However, if you think things will change …
After reading Dave’s missive I have put on purple glasses once more in the desperate hope that this is the Christmas season and miracles are possible

"Proud," however and strictly IMO, means nothing in this context since I did nothing to produce the win. Why would you think I (or anyone not on the team) would be proud. For St Vincent's it was an exhibition (as is an option for any D3 school playing a D1 team). They apparently chose to exercise that option. For HC it is a regular season game.
