So I figure 5 days of practice (Mon-Fri) then Navy.
Hope for health for everyone, Covid and non-Covid related. Realistically, not expecting to see Johnson for quite a while; maybe for good (2021-2, I mean), but you never know. Not sure what the relationship is between his previous and current injuries; but it's not unreasonable to opine that he came back too soon.

I have long held the belief (perhaps unfounded) that HC is not good at managing injuries. It just seems like we have had more than our fair share of injuries over time in the basketball program that have lingered forever. I’d be interested to hear any informed opinions on the subject.

A quick google search found this.. What percentage of college athletes have career ending injuries? Previous research has indicated that between 14% and 32% of competitive athletes are forced to retire because of a career-ending injury (Allison & Meyer, 1988; Mihovilovic, 1968; Werthner & Orlick, 1986).

No "informed opinion" but just reminding you that Ralph had concerns that we were getting a bunch of knee/ankle/leg injuries because the Hart Center floor was too hard or some such that it didn't have enough "cushion" or "give" (all my choice or words) and then he had a guarantee game against someone with the Regan promise that the money for that game would be dedicated to a new floor. As far as I know, that "new floor" now going back years since it was on Ralph/Regan watch, is still the same floor.
I've not felt that any injuries we've had lately have been excessive in part because we are pretty much kept in the dark as to what they actually are.

My recollection from the construction specs is that the Hart floor is new, and identical to the floor in Blaney. IIRC, there was discussion on this board about offering the old floor to a high school. The old floor had to be removed because of the new wiring that was run underneath it, and I believe there was an issue with respect to the old floor and the new seating as well.
