Deferring to the coaches on here, does "experience" come incrementally or how often are there cases of breakthrough experience levels (i.e. all of a sudden, one game or two, they "get it.")? If incrementally, are we seeing that? KY made the case for Louth. Are we seeing that in others?
Again, I'm looking for more team coordination where they cover for each other defensively; know where their teammates will be; not throwing the ball to an opponent because they thought their teammate was going to break a different way. Certainly I would think by now the number of lazy, lob passes that get easily picked off for an easy bucket the other way should have been learned by now. In fairness, it seems to happen less often but it should be closer to zero. And, playing 2 D3 opponents might not have helped our guys learning the speed of the game.

Agree with your points on quickness and speed and some of that can be achieved with time and practicing against a balanced roster. My point is most D1 players today played against each other prior to college and have some sense of what is needed to compensate. And then you have the one and done groups that are in a different category
regardless we have miles to go before we truly are competitive in the top shelf of the league
