Great game just like last week's games. Congratulations Coach Duffner.

Am I right that Duff does NOT have a Super Bowl ring? Believe he was with the Bengals when they lost twice. Forgot the other team he was with (in Florida? Dolphins? Bucs?).
I do remember he was with them when I lived in the Columbus area as was Bruce Kozerski.

Kit Hughes addressed the HCAA meeting yesterday. During the brief Q&A, an alum, Ohio born, suggest inviting Mark back to campus after his Super Bowl victory.

SoFi Stadium cost $5 billion. Fitton Field a little less. Playing surfaces equally excellent. Sight lines probably better at Fitton.

My brother just shared this story with me. They were on the bus to the Dartmouth game, one of the coaches asked Reilly if his Dad was going to the game. Reilly responded, "No....he has to plow the back 40 this weekend Coach."
Good guy, very happy for his success.

Down 3, but Beckham blew his knee out, non-contact.
Bengals definitely have a chance in this one.

Yeah, I wasn't in Columbus when they were in the Super Bowls but thought Duff was there longer than I remembered.
I lived in Ohio summer '92 to March, '99. Duffner was a Bengals assistant from 1997-2002, so we overlapped in the Buckeye State for 2 years. Kozerski played for the Bengals '84-'95 so he was gone before Duffner got there but we overlapped in the state for 3 years. I guess my memory put the two separate Holy Cross connections together in my head. Ehhh?

Duffner was thanking people on the HC football Facebook page hours before this game.

So now the Bengals are 0-3 in the Super Bowl. Excellent and very close game.

How about that halftime show? It no doubt cost $$milliions to foist that severe punishment on the viewing audience.

While I didn’t watch it, I don’t generally watch Super Bowl halftime shows.
I am sure it cost millions but I have no doubt so have previous shows.
Rap music is not for me but I also realize it is for millions of younger fans. I’ll bet they appreciated it.
But the game was great despite the team I was rooting for coming up short.
Oh, and young Bob Chesney makes the two head coaches look like babies.😊

#83's drop in the 4th quarter was very reminiscent of Wes Welker vs the Jints in 2012 (or was it 2013). In fact, it was a much easier catch and a couple less minutes would have made a big difference.

83's drop: At that point I sensed the Bengals were in trouble. A series of mistakes, penalties late in the game cemented their loss. The Rams are an example of smart trades & of money spent wisely. Stafford, Donald, Cupp & co. rose to the occasion. Victory was well deserved.

How about that halftime show? It no doubt cost $$milliions to foist that severe punishment on the viewing audience. Come on, KY! There was virtual unanimous approval for the halftime performance on social media (virtually impossible these days) from anyone under ~40-45 years old.

Although I was rooting for the Bengals, at the end of the day, it's probably better that the Rams won. From my viewpoint, the Bengal go ahead TD to start the second half should have been called back. It would stink if the storyline became Bengals win because of bad call

There was virtual unanimous approval for the halftime performance on social media (virtually impossible these days) from anyone under ~40-45 years old. Not my thing. Not exactly the youngest demographic either. I think all those performers were in their 50's. I got the impression that most of the raps performed were 20 years old. Didn't matter for TV, but for those in person, those little houses were foolish. Fine to be performing on top of them even if half the live audience is looking at your back. Silly at a live gig to be inside those boxes so 2/3 of the live audience can't see you (even though they probably needed binoculars.) Not a rap guy, so wasn't in love with the half time show, but it was far better than the Rock's introduction to the game

So, now you've told us over the years that you don't like rap, country music or NASCAR. It turns out that we have more in common than I thought. (I'm hoping you come around on soccer.) I made dinner during half time and missed the whole thing.

I made dinner during half time and missed the whole thing. I don't like most country music but recognize that many of the performers are talented. I just don't see that with rap/hip hop. I remember when the great Lou Rawls was asked about Rap and he answered "that's not music".
