I’m guessing not. Wes Jr coached the Wash Wizards and so did not live in the Ville. I don’t know if Wes had other sons. Wes’s older brother George was a long time city councilor here in Louisville. He played basketball for Kansas. Perhaps it is his grandson?? If your name is Unseld and you play basketball, people are going to ask. Once upon a time, I went to want young Matt Perry play pro baseball in Lowell MA. Perry was in the Tiger system and the second baseman on his team was named Kaline. Made me ask And ??

And the Kaline was Colin Kaline, Al’s grandson, a low round pick who, unlike his grandfather, was not a very good hitter. Didn’t last more than 1 or 2 seasons in the Tigers’ minor league system. Hit .197 in 234 minor league ABs.

Nice work by our recruit and his teammates Ky, any idea where House and Perry are going? You'd think this was a pretty high level of talent. Thanks.

Perry signed with UK- don’t know if the change in coaches will cause him to change that

I believe that he is the only one who has so far stayed with his commitment

Perry is the highest career scorer in Kentucky HS history and was Mr Kentucky Basketball. I can only imagine the uproar if he had changed his commitment

We are an established big away from being a very competitive low/mid-major team in the next two years.

We are an established big away from being a very competitive low/mid-major team in the next two years. Reminds me of the classic old phrase “we”re just one player away fro being a pennant winning team. The trouble is that the one player is Babe Ruth.”

For us it is not a super talent, but a solid #5 contributor
We are getting closer and have the coach to get us there

We had Louth and Rabs for four years each, with a dash of Wilbarrr, and the highlight was Rabs at the Maccabiah Games. I don't blame DP for not pulling the trigger on a 5 if he doesn't think he has one who can actually play at this level.

We are an established big away from being a very competitive low/mid-major team in the next two years. Do you mean that if Ryan and Hare turn into established bigs, or do you mean if we get an already established big for next season to go along with them? CK only has the one season to go so we may need at least 2 good bigs to be highly competitive within 2 years. I hope we are as close as you think to reaching that level.
