BC has looked lost these past couple of series.
And it ends with an INT

BC throws an interception to end it. Eagles are 6-4 and bowl eligible.

Correct me if I am wrong, but one FCS win counts towards bowl eligibility and they beat us by 3, otherwise they have only 5 wins and NOT eligible.
You’re welcome, Eagles🦅!

Sadly, there aren’t even going to be enough bowl eligible teams to fill all of the games, so BC is getting a bowl, perhaps the (stops typing to look around the kitchen for a product to mock) “Windex Streak Free 1.32 Gallon Refill” Bowl to be played before a crowd of 9211 in Couer d’Alene, Idaho on a Wednesday in mid December at 11:30 am ET.

BC with an absolute powder puff schedule (relative to ACC level) sits at 6-5 which may be enough to cool down the Hafley warm seat if they finish up 6-6.

I’m inclined to agree just cause I don’t think the apathetic BC athletic dept will want to eat the rest of his contract. Although, if only one year left it wouldn’t shock me if a couple of big money boosters find the money to move on. Also, they could beat Miami next week to go 7-5. Early game in Boston when Miami might not be playing for a ton.

I changed my mind, and i might be so far off, but if BC beats Pitt and goes 7-4 and we win i think we get an at large bid on Sunday morning Now BC might lose big tonight and then i am saved for putting this out there as a possibility Watch the FCS highlight film onSluka While I believe we are on the outer edge of the bubble (just hanging on), and that's assuming a W against the Hoyas, I think we also need to root for Army to beat a very good Coastal Carolina team at Michie on Saturday. As far as BC, don't think the Pitt result mattered. When it's all said and done, we lost by 3 points to a BOWL BOUND ACC team. I think that will help us, but we'll see how much. And of course, I'm still sort of caught betwixt and between on the Harvard-Yale game. A Yale win and hopefully we go from having 0 quality wins to 1 quality win. If Harvard wins, we remain at 0 quality wins but Harvard becomes more of a quality loss. Best case scenario, Yale wins and both Harvard and Yale end up at the tail end of the Top 25 rankings. But even with a win in "The Game", at 7-3 with losses to a bad Cornell team and an OK Penn team, it may be a stretch for Yale to sneak in. Plus that anti-Ivy bias you mentioned!

If Fuller is not available on Saturday, can we expect to see some of our backs who haven't seen much action this year?

Purdy and Forrest should see the majority of snaps but wouldn’t be surprised if we also see the frosh JC that missed a good chunk of the season. He could play and still maintain his redshirt.

Hmm. Not enough bowl eligible teams. Why not dip into the ranks of "last out" FCS Tournament bubble teams?

One could say neither school or both of them have motivation. Regardless, what's the over-under on references to the 1984 game given that it's the same matchup on the same day (Friday after Thanksgiving)?

Gut feeling....which have been mostly right this year (check my preseason pick on wins this year) is that we take a year's worth of frustration out on the Hoyas tomorrow. Winning something like 45-10.

But that’s only half the battle. We need Lehigh to win too.

JMU is first in line if there are not enough eligible teams. The Fenway and Pinstripe Bowls might like closer teams. I'm guessing BC will 99.9% be in the Fenway Bowl. Of course, I thought it was weird that UConn didn't end up there last year but the bowl I believe has an ACC tie-in.

Winning something like 45-10. Kind of don’t think so. We aren’t THAT much better than our opponent tomorrow. We limped past Lehigh. Georgetown handled Lehigh more definitively than we did. Barely got by Fordham. Georgetown beat them with greater ease. The Hoyas have a lot to play for. It’s not often they get to 4 wins in the PL. I expect tomorrow to be challenging.

Not that you could ever take this to the bank but Jake is listed as a starter on the 2-deep. If he can do that, not only would his playing ability enhance the defense but the leadership and emotional boost to our defense as well will make a huge difference.

I hope he can play.
