At the very least, I hope HC football is investing in some top notch media to share with potential recruits that highlight the history, the last five years, and our NFL players, etc. We have a better story to share than most other programs at our level.

Likely the NCAA would determine that there is no problem with P5 schools employing such recruiting practices

SVP on the (very) early SportsCenter today noted that the deepest talent pool at the Combine was in the WR and OL positions. The banner at the bottom of the screen showed five WRs projected to be drafted with the first twenty-six picks next month. Apparently 9 O Linemen are slated to go in Round One

It is an entertainment enterprise, with an added dimension of gambling Tip your cap, but it is what the NFL has created from a marketing/media perspective....they have made themselves into the only major sport ( IMO ) to be a 365 day/12 month a year news story......From the Super Bowl until the draft ( 11 weeks ), it is non-stop conversation re: the draft, free agency, franchise tags.....no other sport can say that.......Marketing genius.. And say what you will re: Eisen....he went from being a 3rd stringer @ ESPN to being the face of NFL Network..........not exactly a stupid guy

Only two SDSU guys and a Yale rated above CJ. No FCS guys rated above Coker.

These ratings aren’t worth much. I think Coker is gonna turn more heads than they think in the NFL.

Steve Smith Sr. is a believer in Jalen! Hard to argue with anything there....Pats should seriously consider him at the top of the 4th round to be that Brown/Welker/Edelman/Amendola slot receiver that they've been lacking the past 4-5 years

Good video, but they obviously have no idea who the Holy Cross quarterback is...throws too early, throws too late...They may want to start to prepare for their Sluka video next year

I believe it is important to continue that day for current and future HC players and to help maintain HC 's football reputation.

Pro day attendees:
Anyone know if it's open to the public? My guess is no, but I know some bigger schools have theirs open.

Before the Luth HC players were forced to go to pro days at Harvard, BC, UConn, etc.
Now they come to Worcester. Facilities matter.

Thank you, John Luth What we have experienced on the gridiron during these last 4 years would not have happened without this man’s philanthropy.

Pro day started, Kevin Stone and Jen Toland are tweeting from it, but seems like more reporters than usual per the video linked below. Looks like 30 teams in attendance per Jen. Jalen won't be retesting the drills he did previously (so no faster 40 sadly).

Kevin's video has a better angle and shows the start. I clocked it around a 4.56 which would be top 10 amongst all OL from the combine, but still really tough to feel confident in my time.

CJ Three Cone (note, he hit a cone 4 times so this is his 5th attempt). I clocked something around 7.69 which is good but not as impressive as his other results, and I'm going to assume he was pretty dead after doing this 5 times.
