That is your legitimate opinion...but one with whch I disagree. Where would you see HC going that is somehow better? Also, if the PL were "doomed to fail" (a point on which we disagree) why would all of the PL ADs continue to support it? Do you feel the athletic programs are being run by people too incompetent (or too content) to see that their league is "doomed" so they remain? My comments apply to men’s basketball only. Also my definition of fail is fail to be relevant on a regional and national scale (I also could see the PL fold with one or two departures). Why would the league fold with one, or even two, departures? League would be fine with eight or nine schools. Or worst case would be to lower the academic standards a bit and add someone. Lots of schools have shown interest in joining, and at least several would still be interested. Marist and Fairfield to name two. Also NJIT, although they clearly would be less desirable.

Let’s be honest, successful runs like Bucknell in late 2000s /CJ McCollum run will be less frequent on go forward given transfer/NIL rules. I am not sure what conferences are relevant on a regional and national scale outside of the power 6 in 2024. 15 years ago, we might talk about the A-10 or MVC, but with all the conference re--alignments, today not so much. Things are changing. There's a big game of musical chairs going on right now. I'm afraid there are about 350 players and only 75 chairs - and those chairs are headed to players that are basically semi-pro teams

The Mountain West Conference is projected to receive more NCAA bids than the ACC and the PAC 12

In HC's first PL game this season, they lost by 12 down there. A better showing tonight might feel like evidence of movement in the right direction. Hoping the core 10 are all ready to play tonight. Between Nugent and Octave, it's been a little while since the starting 5 has been intact

Here’s some 3 point shooting data:
Bucknell is 0-10 when its opponent shoots 35% or better on 3 pointers
Bucknell is 1-10 when it shoots lower than 32% on 3 pointers.
Can we beat either or both of those numbers?

Why do we make passing so difficult?

Not great when a team that should be pissed off and fighting to stay out of the basement allows the road team to come in with a lot more energy in the first two minutes.

Why do we make passing so difficult? Same cross court vs. the press was made twice in a row.

Nice move in the paint by Louth. Hoop called off for foul but still nice fake and footwork. I don't think we have seen much of that.

HC +9 points on free throws but we just cannot make a field goal. Can we turn it around in the second half?

Jack Forrest's walk up song is "I've been everywhere" by Johnny Cash. He has left some fine institutions.
