I think Carla's team would easily defeat HC this year.

Anything less than two victories this weekend versus Niagara will be unacceptable.

BU 17 Turnovers HC 7 Turnovers. We should win those games every time if we shoot a little better and get a rebound every once in a while. Friday's game was a missed opportunity..... Good bad....

This team is struggling. Not sure what the issues are but HC Hockey is not happening so far this season. Middle of the AHL pack at best. Hope it changes but does not seem likely. Lost opportunity this weekend. Disappointing.

Fran is basically a time bomb that will certainly explode in a big way some day. That will get him fired and hard to find another job. Fran needs anger management classes and is a bully. It is a personality thing whether he is coaching basketball or was in the priesthood.

The University of Connecticut has a brand and a reputation ( see mens and womens basketball ) that we are light years from. Their acceptance into HE was in large part due to that brand. Uconn has a history of making the move up first and then rising to the next level ( Big East Basketball in 1979 ) and Football ( FBS ) more recently. So HE knew or were pretty sure that Uconn would do the same in Hockey. We however have no such track record. As a matter of fact our track record is the complete opposite. We move down and then decline to the lower level ( Colonial/Patriot league in football 1986 ) ( Decline Big East Membership in Basketball 1979 ). We all know how have those moves have worked out. My point is that why would HE take us seriously now to undertake the commitment to upgrade our Hockey arena and devote all the additional financial resources necessary to get to the BU/BC level necessary to compete in HE when we have shown no historical willingness to do the same in football or basketball. Two sports with a much larger persona than hockey.

Q will be a difficult game today as they rebound very well and are playing better lately. We had better shoot well.

Is there a Berard presser up anywhere yet after this weekend's debacle ?

We are clearly not ready for HE. Let's stay in Atlantic Hockey and win some games first before we get too crazy. Also winning a playoff round in March might be nice. Not much progress in this program so far after Pearl left. Let's hope that it gets better very soon.

Domination by Army.... Is this team more like the victories over PC and Union or more like the listless play recently as we now slip to 6-6? These games really don't mean too much ( although we can't lose them all ) as this team needs success in March to validate any progress at all in the program under Berard

We are certainly off to a very bad start to the season. Tough match up for us tomorrow as QU is a very good rebounding team. This will be a struggle for us. Sacred Heart and Marist will also test us pretty good as both are playing much better lately. Rhody could be nasty, Got to hope that we can win a few in PL play.

This was a bad loss. Hard to get over something like this but get over it we must. Let's turn things positive with a big win on Sunday. How bad were we tonight. Wow !!! This was a real downer....

Let's see what March brings. These games don't mean very much if we keep going out in first rounds of AH playoffs.

Put the Damn lights in Fitton !!! Wake up Nate Pine !!! You are killing us. Night games in September and October would be terrific for fan support and a big increase in attendance.

Crowd that day was about 11,000++ Not bad for about 8-9 degrees with a major winter storm forecast for late that evening ( got about 10") It was freezing cold. Kind of like the 5-3 loss to Syracuse at Fitton in November of 1973 ( Bitter cold 4-5 degrees !! ) Was at both games
