Sorry you are wrong there was only 42 seconds left Knee down and game over Get the facts straight You can leave the attitude at home. As I’ve already explained, a change of possession stops the clock. This is something you are missing. It was 4th and 8 for SDSU with :45 remaining. Kneeling the ball takes off a few seconds and gives HC the ball back. Not game over. If Chesney wanted to end the game at 35-21, SDSU would have gladly taken that. He didn’t need to use consecutive timeouts. 4th and 8 on the 21 run the ball first down No change of possession take a knee Game over 39 seconds left Don't need a rules explanation on change of possession

Please no excuses here Your reasoning above is absurd and foolish and ignoring the facts The knee down would have run out the clock SDSU Stiegelmeier NO CLASS Change of possession stops the clock. Kneeling would have given the ball back with 40 or so seconds left. If Chesney wanted the clock to run out, he wouldn't have called consecutive timeouts. Sorry you are wrong there was only 42 seconds left Knee down and game over Get the facts straight

If they had run the ball and HC couldn't stop them, shame on them. That play was clearly designed to score. The trailing team using their timeouts while the winning team just tries to run out the clock happens all the time. And yes, you can't try a field goal there, or take a knee. Run it. Period. My last word on the subject. It was an RPO. The QB run wasn’t there so he threw it. Maybe going forward regardless of TOs called the losing D should all kneel to signify they are giving up. I’d have zero issue if the roles were reversed and the Jacks were scored on. Unless the other team gave up. There are those that will agree with me and those that disagree. Much like life. Lame very Lame excuse jackedfor life Stiegelmeier No class Period End of story 99.9 % of coaches would have taken a knee there instead of passing the ball Shameful Go Montana State

No complaints w/them running that play. HC could have put the timeouts in their pocked and that would have been that. And I'd rather HC didn't give up. As you said, Holy Cross had to call timeouts because he can’t quit there, but the Jacks coach should’ve realized that and not score at end You are spot on hcnation 100 %

Are you kidding me..... Up by 14 on the 20 yard line HC no timeouts left YOU TAKE A DAMN KNEE for gods sake 99.9 % of coaches do that Stiegelmeier ....... NO CLASS Too bad I had started to like him all week listening to him Actions speak volumes ..... Words Not so much You’re just going to complete ignore the fact that we called 2 TOs to keep the game going? What if we throw two long passes and score? Then we have an onside kick to get the ball back to tie the game. Crazier things have happened. If we weren’t calling TOs and they were still throwing into the end zone it would be a total different story. But that’s not what happened. Please no excuses here Your reasoning above is absurd and foolish and ignoring the facts The knee down would have run out the clock SDSU Stiegelmeier NO CLASS

No problem whatsoever with SDSU throwing on 4th down. We called TOs to keep the game going. What were they supposed to do on 4th down? Kick a FG and risk a block + potential return? Run into the line and just give us the ball back? Game would have already been over if we didn’t call 2 TOs. Aside from the ridiculously bad beat on +19.5 & +20.5, I am most disappointed that the final score is in no way indicative of the game and very misleading for anyone who wasn’t watching. When it comes time for seeding the NCAA Tournament next year, how many of the clown show ADs on the committee do you think will have actually watched today’s game versus just saw that we lost by 21? We belong at this level of the top of 1-AA, despite what the final scoreboard shows. Are you kidding me..... Up by 14 on the 20 yard line HC no timeouts left YOU TAKE A DAMN KNEE for gods sake 99.9 % of coaches do that Stiegelmeier ....... Right or wrong my fan opinion is if the other team is still trying you still keep trying. If the defense is playing hard thr Offense better play hard. That’s how injuries happen. Nothing bush league about it. One thing to say to you jackedforlife Stiegelmeir ....... NO CLASS

What a great day for HC, other than W Hockey, every team won, and even the women puck stars played well against a decent (not great, is that ok B Foley?) BC team. Jason Grande had himself a weekend. Still need more offense, but B2B sweep 🧹 in Colorado Springs, good job! We got the quadfecta FB MBB WBB MH

A lot of PL naysayers said a PL line couldn't beat up a Colonial league line - HC has done it on both sides of the ball. IMO the OL and DL are the MVPs today HC FB and WBB simultaneous schooling of CAA teams. Let's put a good ending on top of a great day and have MBB get a win over CCSU tonight ......... and MH a win over AF for the Quad Fecta . ( New word )

Left the game with 13 minutes left. Listen to the broadcast on the way home listen to them it seems like HC lost by 1 point. Broadcasters nice guys but they used every cliche in the book to make it sound like HC was so close. Father Markey was at the game does he have any eligibility left? I don't think so but maybe Tony Fauci does

The HC coaching staff would smoke the squad on the floor. To be fair, so would me, you, NAD, Dean Wormer and Iggy (RIP). Can I be the 6th man. Not that you would need much help

It's only Monday. Let's see how many more stupid bulletin-board comments Espanet can come up with before Saturday. Bulletin-board material seriously. Stupid for expressing his opinion and the opinion of many who don't wear purple and white glasses and probably believe they could beat ND or Alabama if the game was played in Worcester. Come on. This game the pressure is all on Holy Cross no doubt about it. You're favored, you went undefeated in the PL, at home you should win. This is just stupid

Ironically, I think the team's Twitter page actually illustrates the rightful frustration on this Board. At 2:45 PM ET today, they tweeted the game's final score with the caption "Big Home W!" Under no circumstance is this a big W. We are seven games in, PL competition is a month away, and the only Ws are against non-D1 opponents. More devastatingly, the program has won ONE (1!) game against a D1, non-PL opponent since January 2019 and the last PL QUARTERFINAL appearance was in 2019. Asking fans and alumni to Drink the Kool-Aid by considering this a big W is insulting at best. If this is a big W, drop all pretense of tradition and the facade of D1; just go D3. Exactly right. Beyond belief that we would be so desperate as to tweet that out.... More than ridiculous. Hope they take that post down. Immediately
