Great give-and go, Berger to Bronagh. Lindsay sees the court so well from the high post.

Don't like seeing Bronagh taking it into the lane and dishing - take it to the hoop!

Funny 2nd qtr - HC shoots 4-8 CU 3-18. HC control the boards 13/8. Wright playing very well today. That is a weird quarter. Those stats almost don't make sense unless you watched. Free throws were key. HC, 7-12 from the line in the second quarter; Colgate, just 1-2.

HALF. Holy Cross, 27-23. Got off to a very slow start offensively, chipped steadily away and ahead in the second quarter. BPC with 9p (5-6 FT), going to the hoop and drawing contact. Wright and Foreman sparked the defense off the bench again to hold Colgate to 29% from the floor.

Bench scored 60% of the points, and shot 59% from the floor (16-27). They also had 2/3 of the team boards
Lafayette may not be very good, but Magarity used the opportunity to give the second wave some serious court time. They made the most of those minutes today.

A little ragged at times, but another strong box score for Simone off the bench - 8p, 6r in 20+ m.
Ditto Donnelly - 6 and 7 in 20+

17 turnovers was the biggest [problem]. The continued inability to draw fouls was also a problemHoly Cross is currently ranked 343rd in free-throw rate (FTA/FGA), worse than even the contact-avoidant Carmody years - maybe worst ever in program history.

But MB was solid against the rest of the PL. Two 3rd place, one 4th place in five years. Wooden-like compared to what has followed.

Finished 7-7, 3rd in the league. Then lost to Lafayette - and again and again in the years following. . . .
MB couldn't figure out how to beat O'Hanlon and Brennan when he had to.

Seems like a long time since Holy Cross started 3-1 in conference. After going 1-13 in the OOC, Milan's first team started 3-1 in PL play.
