Next thing you'll be saying that HC to Eastern Michigan to Angelo State (committed, then de-committed) to Lansing CC to Tarleton State (committed, then de-committed) to Cleveland St is wandering from team to team. (although with a year of eligibility left, that story might not be complete) Fixed it.

Loomis-Chaffee plays in NEPSAC Class A - not at a level with the big boys, but some decent competition.
No mention of Singleton on NERR.

I suspect Nelson's Rolodex is chock full of prominent names in the college coaching world, and he will find a happy place as a second assistant on some high major bench where he will earn a comfortable living.
My sympathy is reserved for Sam Ferry and RJ whose resumes have taken a hit by their decisions to sink with the ship, and who don't have Billy Donovan on speed dial.

. . . it does not stretch the imagination to think that Kit is right now evaluating possible contenders IF (and that is a big "if") there is a future opening. Really more "if".

I disagree with the Mazeroski comparison. Rolen was a very solid player at bat, with a .364 OBP and .490 slugging average. That equates to a 122 OPS+. I know Maz's OBP without even looking it up because it's an atrocious .299 among the very lowest in the HOF and his .367 slugging average combines with it to generate a very weak OPS+ of 84. Rolen as a strong asset on offense, Mazeroski a liability. Ask the Yankees That was a great moment, my favorite of all time until the Sox finally won it all.
But it was one plate appearance. The story told by his other 7,754 is that he was a pretty ordinary hitter

How many different head coaches for Ryan Wade during his collegiate career? Believe this is his fourth. All the teams he has been part of have been terrible.

Will Ryan just got canned at Wisconsin Green Bay. 15-61 record there. Sometimes, DNA just isn't enough.

Basing it on wins scares me. Don’t want to see schedule dumbed down (any more). Didn’t “20 wins baby!” get MB an extension? In 2013-14, HC went 20-14. Our non-conference SoS that year was 145, in the top 40% of D1. The dumbing down of the non-con schedule started with Carmody.
NCSOS under MB 2010-11. 167 2011-12. 194 2012-13. 231 2013-14. 145 2014-15. 103
Average: 168
Carmody Average: 239 Nelson Average: 253

IMHO FCMB needed a perfect storm to have won a title, that being - a run through the PL tournament that avoided coaches O'Hanlon and Brennan. . . . pretty sure he had a decent overall PL record minus those 2 coaches. Right you are, sir. Regular season only . . .
Year vs. LC/AU vs. Rest 2010-11 1-4 6-3 2011-12 2-2 7-3 2012-13 1-3 3-7 2013-14 1-3 11-3
2014-15 1-3 7-7
5 Years 6-15 (.285) 34-23 (59.6%)

Sachs has never had a losing season, why would he be a bad choice? Sachs graduated from from Salisbury State in 1990. From 1990-91 through 2008-09, he served as an assistant at Salisbury, Virginia Wesleyan, Indiana (PA), Archbishop Spalding, and Holy Cross. Of all those teams, only the 1993-94 Virginia Wesleyan squad finished with a losing record (11-14). He has been a head coach continuously since leaving HC and, as you note, has never had a losing season.
Twenty-nine years of winning in a thirty-year coaching career. Give him a call, Kit.

At the holiday break, here's how some other guys who should be getting phone calls are faring this year.
Andy Sachs (Chesapeake CC), 9-3. John Krikorian (Christopher Newport), 11-2 (currently ranked 7th in D3) Landry Kosmalski (Swarthmore), 8-1 (ranked 24th) Josh Loeffler (Johns Hopkins), 6-2 (ranked 17th)
Returning, be it ever so briefly, to the original reason for this thread . . .
Chesapeake CC (Andy Sachs), now 15-3 - has reeled off ten straight wins and is picking up Top 25 votes in the NJCAA polls. Christopher Newport (John Krikorian), 17-3, currently ranked #5 in D3. Swarthmore (Landry Kosmalski), 15-1. Has moved up steadily in the D3 poll to #10 and has won its last twelve straight. Johns Hopkins (Josh Loeffler), 13-3. Ranked 13th.
Carry on.

Can't deal with them inside (64% 2FG, 38-14 points in the paint). They are doing us a favor hoisting up threes (6-20) like this.
