Right now, if the bison are looking ahead I don't think there is anyone they would rather play than the purple I think the opposite is true. We don't lose to Bucknell again this year.

Gentlemen obviously besides your beloved Cross, who is the dark horse to win the PL tournament?

Bucknell looks very strong across the board. They shouldn't lose this time around. They would give the PL a strong rep in Tourney

Bucknell looks very strong across the board. They shouldn't lose this time around. Except maybe to the team that beat the Bison twice. Since losing to Holy Cross, Lehigh has turned it up a notch and might be playing the best ball in the conference right now. They have problems with teams that play zones, but - 137, correct me here, if needs be - Nathan Davis pretty much refuses to play anything but man-to-man. That might be Bucknell's undoing.

They have problems with teams that play zones, but - 137, correct me here, if needs be - Nathan Davis pretty much refuses to play anything but man-to-man. That might be Bucknell's undoing. Bucknell las year played a fair amount of matchup. Also played some early this year but have played virtually none since PL play started. This may be a function of the M2M having developed nicely. Also probably partly due to having a freshman starter plus a frosh and a redshirt frosh as the top,two subs. Hard to tell if they lost to Lehigh due to not playing a zone, but that could be an issue. Both games were decided by LU's hot shooting from three - 10-17 in one game and 9-19 in the other. Foulland had a slight edge over Kempton head-to-head: better shooting, even rebounding, more blocks, fewer turnovers, even assists. Foulland had better Pomeroy rating in both games as well. A big issue for Bucknell is the lack of a true backup center, with Oberfeld's career being over. That is only an issue vs Lehigh.

HC recruitee Lindner chokes out 2-12 from floor. Got worse as good players graduated. as ky suggested in another recent thread with a similarly outrageous post " at some point don't you have to start becoming even a tiny bit objective?" let's compare two players this season. PLAYER A (who you regularly criticize) and PLAYER B (who you regularly praise). the superior player in each dimension of the comparison is indicated in bold. PLAYER A: 13.4 ppg, 16.2 pp/40 minutes, 41.1 fg%, 46.7 2fg%, 38.5 3fg%, 59.0 true shooting%, effective field goal %, 1.4 points per shot, 77.9 ft%, 49.8 ft rate, 4.1 apg, 4.9 assists per 40 minutes, 1.59 assist:turnover, 25.9 assist%, 2.4 rpg, 0.8 spg, offensive rating 122.9, defensive rating 117.7 PLAYER B: 6.2 ppg, 7.4 pp/40 minutes, 33.1 fg%, 36.2 2fg%, 31.6 3fg%, 47.7 true shooting%, 43.7 effective field goal%, 1.1 points per shot, 66.7 ft%, 32.6 ft rate, 2.2 apg, 2.6 assists per 40 minutes, 1.55 assist:turnover, 14.1 assist%, 3.2 rpg, 1.7 spg, offensive rating 92.0, defensive rating 102.4 there is absolutely no comparison between these two players this season, with even more pronounced differences in other seasons. since your claim was based on this season alone, i will spare you a further beatdown with comparisons in other seasons despite your baffling and persistent assertion that PLAYER B has been superior to PLAYER A over the course of their careers. in reality, it is crystal clear that PLAYER A is superior to PLAYER B offensively and defensively. this superiority is manifested in literally almost every statistical category (often by a large margin) in both offensive and defensive individual and summary measures. CONCLUSION: you consistently embarrass yourself on this forum and your best course of action would be to adhere to the ban imposed on you and stop posting altogether. in the absence of this ideal scenario, at least do a little research before you embarrass yourself with stubbornly absurd positions.

Lindner finished his career with 1,509 points (6th all-time at Lafayette) and 520 assists (2nd all-time). Very good player, stuck on what were mostly bad teams during his four years.
Not that it is conclusive about anything, but . . . looks like Marquis Hall was the only other PL player who accumulated 1,500+ points and 500+ assists.

Back to the topic of this thread....
Wasn't it mentioned somewhere before that both semi finals on Sunday would be played at the highest seeds home court?
Seems the PL website has changed that wording... it now reads:
"The quarterfinals will be hosted by the Patriot League's top-four seeds, with all of the action taking place on Thursday, March 2. Each quarterfinal game will begin at 7 p.m. and be streamed live on the Patriot League Network.
The highest remaining seeds from each side of the bracket will play host during the semifinals on Sunday, March 5. One semifinal will begin at noon EST with the other starting at 2 p.m., with live coverage of both on the CBS Sports Network."

I wonder about the feelings of the Army hoops team about the lack of support from their Corps, esp contrasting with hockey and football

Maybe. But it more likely shows what they think of the 7/10 and 8/9 place teams playing each other on a Tuesday night.
