The block of the game was when JF jumped to block from behind. he almost always uses his left hand, but the shot came on his right side. he used his wide wing span to extend and swat the shot away with his right hand. Glad it was repeated so I could be sure of what I believed I had seen.

Musings.... When Ant graduates the hapriest person will be gg smith. Ant is playing great as his career winds down. Biggest beneficiary of that is pb. Remember seeing a post that the former staff suggested mh would be a star as a senior. Is it happening before our eyes? Great coaching job by cbc, but did he need to ice ant before the second foul shot? Go Cross Go. Beat BU! Ant's combined stats in two games vs. Loyola this season: 7 points, 0-8 FG (0-7 2PT, 0-1 3PT), 7-10 FT, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 turnovers. Don't think GG Smith really cares. Ant was a primary reason Loyola made their run to take the lead, so you know. Ant is not playing "great" -- he's had two nice games recently (Lehigh and Lafayette). We will be much better on offense without Ant on the floor next season.

I will remember Husek as a player who didn't look like he belonged on a Division I team after his freshman and sophomore seasons, but who developed his shot and find a niche for himself in Carmody's offense. I'm really happy for him.

Just watched parts of the replay of the game. The play that caused the technical on Walker was at about 5:57 left in the first half. I played it numerous times and seems to confirm my initial impression that Walker came from behind and looked to cleanly knock the ball out of PB's hands but it went out of bounds, probably straight out but possible it hit the foot of another Loyola player (view mostly blocked by the footer score banner). Not knowing what actual words he said, his body language was pretty emphatic and it really looked like it went out on his deflection. The missed rebound was at 8:13 left in the first half when MH and KC blocked a shot (KC apparently got the credit per the final stats) and then all 3 players (AT) couldn't get the ball as it rolled out of bounds. I did not get fully out of my seat. And to show that I "use my head," at the games, check out 13:19 left in the first half. I was close enough to hear what he said being on the baseline..."It was Bull$hit" right to the ref. I thought the ref could have let it go honestly as the kid walked away from it.

Then I was right behind you, although I didn't hear the words, I also didn't think it was right to the ref, looked to me like his back was to the ref when he said something and got the T

Refs traditionally have poor eyesight but excellent hearing.

First, I think McCarthy is 45's friend more than NAD's. Second, the T was given at the far end of the court but he was complaining to one of the refs but I could not make out what he said. My often short memory was a complaint about who the ball had gone out of bounds off of. Think it went off him but guess he thought it went out on an HC player. Since my wife could not make the game, I offered my courtside seat to 45 so he could "chat it up" with McCarthy but he chose to chivalrously stay with his wife and passed up the opportunity. McCarthy tried to chat with me prior to the tipoff but I gave him the dead-eye. I was afraid if I befriended him, 45 would never speak to me again. I don't if anyone else noticed this, but on several occasions last night I noticed these 2 beams of light (apparently) coming right out of the middle of Billy Mac's chest. Finally, I followed the light beams all the way to the other end.......and discovered they were coming right out of HCFC45's eye sockets! You could feel the heat!

We need a students to get out front of the student section and get them riled up. Remember the student section across from the Flannery-led Bucks? What a night.
