Other than football in certain conferences, and men's basketball at certain schools, all sports hemorrhage cash. Seven of the 12 schools in the Pac12 don't field a men's soccer team. Why? One reason may be travel costs. The Pac 12 has no men's lacrosse teams; five schools have women's lacrosse teams. Stanford's women's lacrosse revenue was about $120,000, its expenses were $1.3 million.

No way I would even try to get a ticket to go to Pali. Love HC sports but my bi-coastal travel days are over unless I am heading to Hawaii or Australia or, perhaps, New Zeland on vacation. Good luck, Crusaders, wherever you guys end up. Let's get past a first round!!!

Thanks Tom we are getting warmer. Host school will be taking care of its own. No way I would travel to Pali (sic) Alto without a ticket in hand. No way I would even try to get a ticket to go to Pali. Love HC sports but my bi-coastal travel days are over unless I am heading to Hawaii or Australia or, perhaps, New Zeland on vacation. Damn auto-incorrect!

Actually, while I have been a frequent victim of what I call "auto-incorrect," mine above was on purpose to string along the original error.
As for the staff at the Athletic Department, Linda George was always very helpful to me and I am aware of many long timers there that have either left or hanging on and Nate's "youth movement" (my term, not his) has resulted in a much larger but inexperienced AD staff that sometimes results in a mixed bag combination of errors and omissions but also fresher ideas. I can't yet tell if the net result is a positive or negative.

Worcester weather for Saturday is supposed to be mostly sunny, high temperature around 70.
I assume no pitcher (on either side) will pitch more than three or four innings in this doubleheader.

BC faces elimination in ACC tourney vs Carolina. Sad, so sad. BC was eliminated before that game...the tiebreaker in the ACC in three team pods was the highest seed.

I attended all four games at Columbia/Yale. Yale dominated us and should have won all four. But yes we are playing better now. We are a live 'dog to win a game in the NCAA regional. Go Cross Go! Even a blind squirrel......
