You noticed this improvement in defensive rebounding a few games ago and brought it to our attention. To what can we attribute the improvement: better boxing out, different defensive assignments, weaker opponents, Butler & Grandison playing more1. Navy and Loyola have been better-than-average OR teams - Lafayette, Lehigh, and BU well below average. 2. Grandison (~28 mpg last five games) and Butler (~30 mpg) have combined for about 1/3 of all the DRs during this stretch.

Against my better judgment, making the trek to Worcester tonight with the whole tribe. Maybe we can bring some good luck.

With regard to the rebounding stat, and noting that our guys have been "in" most of the recent PL games (BU 2d half excluded), is it possible that CBC is more focused on this (young) squad learning things gradually, one step at a time, and introducing complexities slowly - knowing full-well that results achieved in the second half of the PL season and in the PL tournament are vastly more important than the OOC games and the first half? Long question, but worthy of a hmmmm?
