I think Bucknell should be the one to aspire to upgrade their league to bring their program up to Fordham's level, or at least Duquesne. ☺

What was the attendance last night? Looked 'gate-like. Wonder if adnp noticed? Does everything need to be a shot at the intelligence or performance of the HC AD? If you really want to know, ask him. Otherwise, please knock it off. The repetition is tedious and does not make your agenda any easier to stomach.

ADNP was not in attendance or at least not in his usual seat. It was a very small crowd by Holy Cross standards but would probably be 3-4 times larger than the average Colgate crowd. Definitely smaller than the announced number but it always is. Would have guessed 800-900.
But, as you often say to others, send an email to Nate if you think it is something he should be made aware of and think he doesn't already know as even when he is not in attendance, he's got a number of subordinates there.

Take a course in probability and you'll come to understand that such sequences can be expected over the course of a season, perhaps more often than the awful 2/24 on threes against Lafayette. Why not celebrate or enjoy that rather than trying to downplay the nice win? Do you think a baseball player who hits .250 for the season goes 1 for 4 in every game? If Steph Curry shoots .400 on threes for the season do you think he goes 6/15 in every game? Certainly, those cases can happen over the course of a season if you rely on shooting a high number of 3’s. But how often can it happen? A handful at most? And then be cancelled out by equally poor performances on the other end of the spectrum? Not exactly a winning formula. Sorry, just can’t get myself to celebrate a 5-13 record after a win over an average team at home. Perhaps it’s just fatigue from 4 consecutive losing seasons and frustration that this style of play isn’t actually going to get us out of the hole the program has dug itself. Your incessant whining is not going to get is there either. Bitching after a win just makes your motivations look even more suspect than they already do. Cheers.

ADNP is most likely at the NCAA convention of ad's this week in Miami, where he should be.

They need to do more bobblehead giveaways.

Sorry, it starts and ends with the PL....HC hoop will never be relevant as long as we are not in a high-mid major or high major league i.e. A-10 or BE We are closer to D2/D3 hoop in just about everyone's perception outside of the people who post here than we are to Big East hoop right now. The Railers are averaging over 4,500 people per night for unaffiliated minor league hockey. How is playing the Adirondack Thunder in hockey any better than playing a PL team in basketbal? People will want to watch HC basketball if we actually have good teams again, a coach they can get behind, and the games are marketed and presented effectively. Au contraire (is that the right French? Didn't take it at HC)....minor league hockey is a "night out of fun for a working family of Worcester"...a basketball game at HC is basically torture....bad basketball, no atmosphere...essentially "What's the point? I can get the same at Assumption, Clark or Worcester St" Serious decisions are needed to be made about the future of HC basketball in the PL.

In all fairness, my buddy's 5 year old who joined us at the UMass-HC game last year was happy to get an extra bobblehead. Assuming the bobblehead will actually increase attendance, it seems odd to run the promotion at the game that is already likely to have the highest attendance of the season

Bring back the Bud Light Daredevils halftime show! I don't think they exist anymore, although there are lots of imitators out there. The Celtics have a show similar to the Daredevils at most games. In my biased view, they aren't quite as good as the original Bud Light Daredevils

Maybe BudLight can revive the Daredevils but tie it in to the current commercial and of course the Holy Cross Crusader They could have jousting, sword fights, archery ... loser gets banished to the pit of misery aka the bowels of the Dinand stacks!

Amazing that someone might have their eye on the bigger picture and wouldn't just be happy about jumping up to 5-13 on the year, and 35-50 over the last 2.5 years. What a Debbie Downer!

Fall semester, Junior year: How do I not recall a thing about this, and how did this not garner a mention in the 1977 yearbook?

Not 100 percent sure where that is. Looks like he started in what is now right field and came into the open end of the football stadium. That's guessing it's an angled shot with the stairs in the background being the ones that are at the end of the right field baseball stands
