Not disagreeing, but easy to look good in practice when games haven’t begun. Hey, with losing records for every D1 team this year, at least we can't lose in spring practices and are guaranteed a W in the spring game. That is hard to believe. In any case, our current brand is as a school that plays a lot of D1 sports. So that's all good. Provided the incoming and enormous football class has real FCS talent (and we'll know that by seeing how many frosh break into the starting lineup and how many frosh are named all-PL), I'm optimistic of a winning season in three years or so.

Sounds right, but first year with Luth also I think the latter has something to do with it Great promotional aspect. The QB prospect from Arkansas also visited UMass and BC, and the backdrop for his Twitter tweet photos for those two visits was blah. This prospect said he was invited to sit in on a team meeting, -- which would be in the new 120 seat auditorium-style meeting room. And surely got to visit the new football coaches suite, which is probably the equivalent of what you'd find at a BCS school.

When we actually land a higher percentage of FBS-offered kids we can kick around ideas on the causes for greatly improved recruit quality. Chesney and facilities (including Luth) may very well be two of them. I'm not sure we can get much from uncommitted recruit visit photos or facebook postings at this point.

Not to read too much in, but Chesney, for him, seemed a bit subdued.

The lack of depth Chesney spoke of will hopefully be solved by the 30 incoming freshmen

It is a very small group returning from the back-to-back 4-7 seasons...talent and speed should be arriving in the huge incoming frosh group.

In the latest video, whose name(s) is above Sports Performance Center?

Can't tell for sure, but it's possible that it's the Carol & Park B. Smith Sports Performance Center - since the Wellness center, when it was in the back of the Hart Center, was named that.

It does appear to be named after Carol and Park Smith from reviewing the video. Since the field house is being replaced, I wonder who the new Recreation Center will be named.

It does appear to be named after Carol and Park Smith from revising the video. Since the field house is being replaced, I wonder who the new Recreation Center will be named. Both the Luths and the Park Smiths have given the lion's share, about half the $30 million by my counting. Perhaps they will name it the Hart and take Hart off the court and rink. The student rec center is to be the home of all HC intramural and club sports, so Hart is very appropriate. And if they took the name Hart off the court, I would rename it the Champions court, after the 1947 team. My two cents.

Isn't it a joy to see our guys practicing in a nice indoor practice field when the snow is still flying?
