Who was ahead of JF on All-PL?

Voters got the all-rookie team exactly right (though Iorio would have been a better choice for RoY). Jehyve deserved 2nd team nod - Andre Walker undeserving of 1st team accolade.

Both Walker and Tejada highly questionable choices ahead of JF, imho.

I just don't see Andre Walker as a first teamer--baffles me. Is he an extraordinary defender? He's not a good shooter by any means, commits turnovers--don't see him as one of the league's top players

Ok, makes sense. 1st and 2nd teams had three guards each, which prob bumped JF to 3rd team.

To the extent ORtg is a meaningful measuring tool, Walker is a below-average offensive player.

Ok, makes sense. 1st and 2nd teams had three guards each, which prob bumped JF to 3rd team. Not a justification - 2nd team has two point guards. Voter infatuation with shooters - Walker and Tejada - knocked Floyd down. Best defensive player in the conference, with high level of offensive efficiency, should have been given greater respect.

Right you are, especially since Walker is not an elite shooter: .341 on threes, .405 on twos, and a sad .595 on free throws. As you mentioned, his O-Rating is very, very weak at 90.9 Petrie's numbers on offense are dramatically better than Walker's

No. The coaches are supposed to vote for their top 5 players for the first team, their next five for the second team, and their next 5 for 3rd team. They can have five centers or they can have five guards, or anything in between. Often in the past there have been three big man on the first team. For example, last year's team had two centers and one PF.

It’s terrible that Floyd was put on the third team. Sad, so sad. What a terrible league.

Hard to see how the coaches (and ADs ?)valued Klinewski over JF. They voted JF DPoY, yet put someone ahead of him who though scoring more and rebounding slightly better was well behind him in fg%, blocks and overall defensive ability.

I would have voted for Klinewski based on performance over the whole year - but Floyd was clearly better over the last ten games.

Voters were likely swayed by Klinewski's 3 point shooting, an exceptional 48/109 =.440, and great free throw shooting= 92/113= .814.
Jehyve was dominant with the 66 blocks (Klinewski had 21) but I think we'd all agree that that stat does not capture the intimidation factor that flows from the shot blocking: opposing players who are afraid to shoot against him or who alter their shots.

Klinewski also played for a team from Pa.

Klinewski also played for a team from Pa. Stop embarrassing yourself. The coaches voted. 3 out of 10 of them are based in PA, and you can't vote for your own players. So Klinewski got a max of two votes from PA. I absolutely think JF should have been 2nd team, but let's try to keep our reasons on the rational side.
