Louisville is looking for help from a grad transfer guard. Louisville contacted several otential transfers since Chris Mack took over as head coach: Mike Cunningham of SC-Upstate, Ehab Amin of Texas A & M Corpus Christi, Zach Johnson of Florida Gulf Coast, and Joseph Chartouny of Fordham. Albany Guard Joe Cremo said that he and Louisville had "ended things mutually".

Brockington is a Philly kid we recruited back in 2016. Averaged 11m, 4p with the Bonnies as a freshman.

He was likely to be a starter this year, so minutes shouldn't have been the issue. He posted a nice tweet on the way out, thanking staff and fans. I wish him well.

Canes targeted three transfers, with Walker and Brown leaving as projected first rounders, and got 'em all - Johnson, Anthony Mack from Wyoming (four years to play) and Kameron McGusty (two years to play) from Oklahoma.

Siena’s Prince Oduro has asked for a general release, but has not gotten it, at least yet

Seems like Cremo will land on his feet. Per Jon Rothstein:
Albany grad transfer Joe Cremo has cut his list to Creighton, Oregon, Gonzaga, Texas, and Penn State, per a source.

Cremo now planning to visit Villanova and Kansas in the next few days. He is good, but that good ? he won't be a starter, adds depth to any team.....shades of RJ at UConn

"Villanova, which could lose as many as four players from its national championship team to the NBA draft, picked up a valuable addition Tuesday when Albany guard Joe Cremo announced he will transfer to the Wildcats for his final season of eligibility. The 6-foot-4 Cremo, who led the Great Danes and finished fourth in America East with a 17.8-point average last season, will be able to play right away for Villanova as a graduate transfer..."

Cremo's "O-Ratings" for three seasons were 122, 112, 120--right up there with Keith Simmons, for perspective.

This grad transfer rule was just getting underway when RJ took advantage of it. May have had more offers if he was leaving today. Different type player.

Rising sophomore PG David Kachelries is transferring from NJIT to Mineral Area College, a JUCO. He had about ten offers in hand, including from us and most of the PL, when he committed two summers ago - the day before Caleb Green committed to HC. Some speculation at the time that he might have been our first choice, but looks like we made the right choice.

Did we make the right choice or luck out that Kachelries committed a day earlier to NJIT.

"Stud" may be a little hyperbolic. Harris has a reputation as a shooter, mostly from outside (28 of 38 FGA from three last year) - defense, quickness, handle more questionable. Apparently, according to the Minnesota board, he got quick hooks from Pittino for defensive lapses in particular. Obviously, he won't have to deal with the same level of competition in the PL.
Austin Carroll was supposed to be a stud, too - we'll see.
