Careful...or "warriors" might be suggested as HC's new nickname (and that has already been deemed non-PC). We can never have too many guys who will really "fight" for the ball and for points. Another player who competes like AB could be huge.

Here's his football highlights Another obvious comp with AB. Really like that we are getting a kid who attacks, and isn't going to camp out on the perimeter waiting to hoist threes. Like Green, love his ability to apparently defend anywhere from 2 through 4, whether we are in match-up or not. Highlights also show him dogging guys as they bring it up court.
In the tournament last year, Carmody mixed it up by going straight man on a handful of possessions. A couple more kids like this, and that may become an even more viable option.

I loved Eric Green’s game and if Joe can bring some of that to the team we’ll benefit greatly. The defensive tenacity in the highlights, as others note, is a pleasure to see

On the EYBL he averaged 8 ppg and took 10 shots(never more) only 3 times Of his 115 rebounds, 51 were on the offensive end. .8 blocks, .8 steals, 1.4 fouls = aggression without fouling

Governor's Academy is located in Byfield, MA (North Shore area). They are a NEPSAC Class B program, like Roxbury Latin (Benzan) and St. Luke's (Walter Whyte). Playing in the ISL, they will probably be on the road next year vs. St. Sebastian's (Needham), Noble & Greenough (Dedham), Groton School (Groton), and St. Mark's (Southborough) among others, for those local posters who want to watch him. Last year's schedule: www.thegovernorsacademy.org/page.cfm?p=511&teamID=39&display=ScheduleRe: Governor's Academy. Original name was Governor Dummer Academy. Was changed due to name being made fun of; at least those in charge felt it was.

Welcome Joe! Love getting football guys. amen brother! the toughness quotient of this program is steadily increasing right alongside the growing stable of shooters. that is a great combo in a roster. in addition to his physicality and toughness, i like the fact that pridgen had a handful of offers and that we beat others for his services. welcome aboard, joe!

Welcome to HC Joe!
Isn't Hargis also supposed to be an aggressive type of player?

Bring in Mike Vicens to show Harris and Pridgen how to be aggressive on the court.
With Austin Butler, we can have three in your face, take charge players that the team needs to be successful.

I didn't want to date myself too much but the guy who came to mind when I watched Pridgen's highlights was Michael Vicens.

I really like what I see..His explosive jumping stands out to me, dunks with ease in transition off the bounce..We haven't had a guard like that in a while..He jumps similar to MM...If he can defend enough, he could be an impact player as a Frosh...Good size, and moves well!

I believe the Vicens dunk cut the lead to one and Potter won it with a foul line jumper with a couple of seconds left.

Yeah, VC has a math problem. We obviously don't have 14 scholarship players.

Yeah, VC has a math problem. We obviously don't have 14 scholarship players. Right, but it's not clear whether we have 12 or 13. Perkins is not going to play - if he has become "criswelled," his scholarship could go to somebody else (e.g., Flaherty) or remain unfilled. If the former, VC may not be "aware" yet and hasn't adjusted its chart.
If VC is confused, they have plenty of company. There may be a poster or two who is in contact with the staff and knows exactly what the hell is going on with this roster; the rest of us are reduced to guesswork, and waiting for the NCAA report.
