Yeah, VC has a math problem. We obviously don't have 14 scholarship players. Right, but it's not clear whether we have 12 or 13. Perkins is not going to play - if he has become "criswelled," his scholarship could go to somebody else (e.g., Flaherty)
Flaherty ? Previously a walk-on, he left the team before last season and is not on the updated roster. Other than VC, is there any indication he has returned ?

No idea - not an insider.

Rory walked away prior to last season of his own accord.
No inside info, but I think it highly unlikely that he would jump back in especially with three "preferred" walk ons coming in as freshmen

I would be shocked Rory would be back and assumed you guys were talking about some other player named Flaherty. He was a walk-on and nothing has happened to the program that would entice CWC to bring him back and now make him a scholarship player. Spent a bunch of time with his father at courtside when Rory was on the team. His father was very objective about his skills. His sister is presumably the better player in the family.

This sort of three-card monte being played with the roster is what makes it tough to figure out what's really going on and, in particular, what impact (if any) the NCAA snafu has had on recruiting and scholarship distribution. If one of the 2018 PWOs gets a scholarship next year, for example, then HC has a max of two left to award to 2019s following JP's commitment.
Still puzzles and unanswered questions.

Hopefully DiMarz's info is incorrect as it makes no sense to be giving the limited scholarships we have to guys who went a full recruiting season with no offers.

If they didn't get an okay to 'Criswell' MP, that could mean his scollie is not available this year, but would be next year.

Based on his July play, he should move up in the NERR rankings which were done before the July season. If he moves up, that will be very impressive, given that more than 15 good players will be added to the pool, i.e. those from outside of New England who choose to prep for their senior year (or a post-grad). Must be very impressive as Joe moves from #38 up to #29

To bison137's point . . . The 2019 rankings will be updated in the fall, in the spring of 2019, and in the summer of 2019 as well. Those future updates will take into consideration not only the senior year performances of those currently ranked, but the performance of a number of additional 2019 kids coming into New England for their senior years.
That said, an impressive ranking for Pridgen at this stage.

But as you point out, I was talking about the update that incorporates all of the new players who not only move to preps for their senior year but also the group that comes in for a post-grad year. A number of them aren't yet in the rankings. although I haven't checked to see if they have already added any new players.
