With this strategy, might as well take a knee for 4 quarters.

D still competing which is good. Offense has a long way to go. Might not score a point today.

HC's game really starts right now. How do they compete against BC's twos.

After 1st quarter, we got one first down and it was off a BC penalty.

I just don’t get our offensive game plan - I understand getting beat physically, but I can’t acxept this being our best offensive game plan.

BC pulled their starters in the 1st quarter? That’s an absolute embarrassment

The good thing is the BC coach is a classy guy and will not have his starters out there much longer. This is the way it is when your playing a FBS team especially a good FBS team which the Eagles are. I know some people picked the Cross to win but that was heart talking not reality. No matter what the Cross gets a pay check and see's what type of effort the young men have in the face of adversity.

How did Chesney select the OC? Based on reports, very unimaginative, is he even operating an offense for the 21st century? This score isn't even funny. Maybe if the program had significantly progressed under Gilmore, this game would be reasonable.

Any word on Haddon’s injury? Hope he’s okay. Looked like he might be headed for the concussion protocol.

As cool as it sounds to play BCin football, we really have no business being on the same field as an ACC program. We are eons behind that. I was at the 1986 game and was stoked for the first 5 mins, then reality set as to who we were in football and that has been reality for 32 years!

Yanking Dillon after just 3 series (and over 140 yards and 3 TDs)) was very classy. QB starter yanked after 4th series. Adazzio would like to prevent embarrassing us. A very small pay check (O'Shaunessy of the Boston Globe noted it was substantially less than UMass' 350K)

Maybe if the program had significantly progressed under Gilmore, this game would be reasonable. The original choice for OC, who had FCS experience, got a better offer and left. Chesney then chose the RB coach from Tufts, and who he knew from Div II.

Nice stop after BC goes for it on 4th down at midfield with a 28 point lead

I’m not sure a d2 RB coach at Tufts is gonna hack it here.

Also can’t read too much into what we’re doing this week. We’re trying to limit turnovers and maximize time of possession.

I would think game plans will be modified as the season goes on. This isn't any FBS team, it's a top 35 or so team (saying that makes me queasy). What was FBS UMass's excuse?
