Imagine doing that TWICE.....followed by a horrible Grandy pass that luckily didn't get stolen

We just gave them nine free throw attempts in the final three minutes as a result of fouling a three point shooter.

Throw the ball down to the other end of the court if you have to rather than make a bad backcourt pass

At the end, Loyola just wanted it more.
But another win and a road win.
Mistakes, but they can be corrected.
10-4 (1-0)

Maybe they should have been watching film and correcting the way players FLY at shot attempts on the free throw line every. single. freaking. time. Very sloppy performance against a bad basketball team. Need to be a lot better and a lot more consistent. (Two best players on the floor were HC commits under Milan. Oh my!)

My prediction. HC will neither win nor lose more than one or two league games this season in double figures.

Dumb to say, carless fouls at the end. Butler standing waiting for the pass. Passing the ball into traps. I know for sure it is not the effort at the end that Coach Carmody wanted.

HC with 80% of boards at the defensive end - best performance of the year.
Season-high 28 FTA.

JF never took a bad shot in scoring 20 pts (8 of 9 FGs) and snagged 15 rebounds. Couldn't be stopped. We'll take the road win and move on.

A win on the road that wasn’t pretty. Sometimes teams play down to their competition. They got up big twice, once in each half and couldn’t close the deal. At the end of the year, you look back and only see a W!

Not our best game... But a win none the less! Put it in the right column and move on to the next game! !

Two best players on the floor were HC commits under Milan. Oh my! And they lost.....like most Milan teams did.
And if you really think they were the best players on the court, your negative comments are losing ALL their credibility.

It’s always good to get a road win when we play like we did tonight. I predict a much more decisive win in the rematch in Worcester.

Every win is a good win...HC didn't play very a very smart game to say the least...We saw some good minutes and some very complacent minutes..Seems to my eyes that after working hard to build the lead, HC takes a deep breath and relaxes..and let Loyola back into the game...I'm sure Coach told the players to defend the 3! Get a hand up! and the players over reacted to that! They sure tried to do that, but with a poor result..Frustrating! But fixable..On the plus side, HC made free throws down the stretch to seal the win..JF was a presence on the floor, a double double..Caleb and Pat were very solid..Faw and Grandy didn't have stellar games, but still contributed..AB was not very smart tonight, too many mental errors..Fouled how many 3 point shooters, three? and late should have moved to the pass from Grandy that got knocked out of bounds, He wanted to catch and turn... Can't complain about the outcome, it is a league win on the road...

HC’s biggest problem tonight was closing. Don’t forget, learning how to be the favorite and close games is a skill unto itself, and they’re getting it done, albeit not always in a pretty way. This is still new territory for this relatvely young team. This is the sort of problem you like having. They’re learning how to be champions, folks.
