Sounds like he could be a strong addition.

Most of those Holy Cross has offered or showed interest in, over the course of the last month or so, are big forwards.

Darn...but I wish him well. (I taught years ago with Mike Mardy who passed up HC (under Jack D.) for Princeton. He shared that, looking back, he wished he had chosen HC.)

Well, looks like we'll be seeing PG Elvin Edmonds (whom we offered in May) at the Hart. Just not in a Holy Cross uniform.

That's three commitments for Bucknell in two days. Unless there is a mystery transfer out of the program, they are done recruiting for the 2021 class.

We have interest in a 6'5" wing from Schenectady named Alex Barnhill. He holds an offer from NJIT and interest from Yale, UMass and Siena. According to his father, who played college hoops, his son will probably prep for a year after graduating next spring.

We might have a very slow news front on 2021 recruits given we brought in what many recruits look at as a full roster of freshmen this year and two upperclassmen—Will see how this recruiting season goes, especially if hoops are cancelled this year.

Are there any restrictions on a recruit’s family from taking an unofficial visit to campus at this time - and tour the Luth and visit with coaches ‘at social distance’ ?

I believe that there are no NCAA restrictions, but considering what the article on Magarity said, no one now is allowed in the Luth. That will presumably change once students return.

I understand your point but there is definitely a need for 1, maybe 2, bigs in the class of 2021. I say maybe because 4 bigs in 2021-22 might be risky with injuries and other unforeseen events. It also wouldn't be that surprising if another point guard joined the fold.

Agree There certainly is playing time available for a second point/combo guard and at the bigs, I see only 3, Coulibaly, Gates and Rabinovich, so we definitely need a fourth.

Are you counting a 5'10" guard from Vermont Academy who's rated #18 in NE by NERR? Looks like he committed yesterday. If not, it looks like they weren't done. On a somewhat related note, Lehigh received a commitment the other day from NERR's #22 in the class of 2021.

The good news is if the Bison are out of schollies, that takes them out of the running for the 6'8" kid from Poland, Klaczek, both Bucknell and HC have offered.

It would be great if we can fill the openings early, but I wouldn't be surprised if 2021 commitments come later in the recruiting process.

Now there are five, and none have really blown up, except maybe Wildy
PF – Nana Owusu (VT – Vermont Academy). 6-8. OFFER. Offers from Siena, Brown, BU, Dartmouth, Hofstra, Duquesne. PF – Mohamed Sanogo (CT – Putnam Science), 6-9. OFFER. Offers from BU, Gardner-Webb. PF – Jordan Wildy (SC – Winston Salem Christian), 6-10. OFFER. Offers from Southern Mississippi, Iona, BU, UNCW, others. PF - Cade Meyer (WI – Monroe HS), 6-8. Offers from W. Illinois, Rice, South Dakota St., others. PF - Kacper Klaczek (NY – Long Island Lutheran HS), 6-8. OFFER. Recent offer from Bucknell.
Have also shown interest recently in 6-8 Chris Cain, from Pine Bush, NY, who will PG at Cushing next season, which plays at a very high level of competition in the NEPSAC. His Hudl (#33 in blue):
