ESPN guy said Lowder is injured. Conflicts with what WooGray posted about Nelson's pre-game comments. I'm confused. The $200 a game D-lister on the video call has no clue.

Butler and Niego guarding ball screens is a total disaster.

I thought the 4th (Burns 3 point play) was pretty weak too.

FINAL. Siena, 74-62. No moral victories, but after the egg the team laid against Sacred Heart, it was encouraging.
Nelson post-game on WEEI coming up.

Should we be excited about a 12 point loss?

Wade went coast-to-coast, being rewarded for "working hard in practice" and being "unselfish." Nelson praised "unselfish" play three separate times.
Clayton Le Sann played
Figure it out, guys.

Nelson also mentioned the importance of getting to practice on time, and buying into the "attack and serve" culture he is trying to create.

No mention of Lowder. He was describing qualities he values - by extension, I'm guessing he doesn't value the lack of those qualities. In the pre-game, Lutsk said something to the effect, "We know Drew Lowder didn't play in the last game because of a coach's decision, and there's no need to say anything more about that. I respect that." This was after Nelson said everybody was available except Copeland. There was no other mention of Lowder.
If he was hurt, don't you think that might have come up? It didn't.

No player is bigger than the program. Glad Nelson is keeping Lowder on the bench.

ESPN lists 7 players for HC.
So, no Verbeek, Lowder, Sandy, Copeland, Reilly, Yuetter. At all?

ESPN lists 7 players for HC. So, no Berbeek, Lowder, Sandy, Copeland, Reilly, Yuetter. At all? Correct. In the pre-game, Nelson did say Copeland was unavailable.

ESPN lists 7 players for HC. So, no Verbeek, Lowder, Sandy, Copeland, Reilly, Yuetter. At all? To be fair, there’s probably only one guy listed here (maybe two) who has shown they can play at a D1 level, so Nelson thought that rolling with the seven guys he played today gave us the best chance to win.

Nelson hasn't used any of his three point guards in the last sixty minutes of basketball.
Butler had a team-high four assists today.

Tells us all we need to know.
That said, at least everyone who needs to learn these lessons is still on the bench/with the team.

How about the Siena starter, still in the game with an 11 point lead and 11 seconds to play, jacking up a three point shot--real classy.
