I think we would have been better off as a 15 seed against a high major 2 seed - they typically don't approach these games with the same kind of in your face intensity that SIU displayed all game long. And that Randall Mother Faulkner was like Jehyve….before Jehyve. I may be wrong, but didn't Keith end up having a dehydration relapse in this game (after being able to manage it all year)? It's no wonder against that team. I got dehydrated just watching that game.

St. Bonaventure is also very interested in Coulibaly, though not clear that they have offered him. Realistically, Holy Cross has to be considered a long shot going up against the MVC and A10. Seeing he's from Canada, wonder how much that plays into his decision; not like it's Big East or ACC games that even the Great White North gets telecasts of. Ryan Serravalle was from Ontario and HC worked out pretty well for him

Young has a 6’9” post, Mick Sullivan. Perhaps HC will have some interest.

Oops. Didn’t realize until after posting the previous post about Mick Sullivan that the Tony Young article was from 2017. Sullivan is a soph at DePaul. Perhaps he’ll show up in the transfer portal where there are already more than 700 players entered.

Hoop Hustle page with highlights www.thehoophustle.com/danielbrasterA lot to like: catch and shoot 3s, Include three of them vs the best team in the country, Montverde, handles the ball, esp for a 6’8” can finish with either hand takes charges, at least two can drive it, at least occasionally aggressive doing this vs strong comp of course, he lacks weight and strength maybe not a strong rebounder no back to the hoop highlights average to below average athleticism this is why he is still available Probably little help next season, but if he is a hard worker, in the gym and the weight room, maybe off the bench as a soph, with big minutes his last two years.

He snuck into the NERR top 100 at #98. Looks like he was a guard who has grown to 6’8” but has maintained his guard skills. Originally from Long Island and began his hs career at Archbishop Malloy. Seems like he has played against tough competition throughout his hs years.

Well a potential big option in Harding, and I think would have been a great get as he wasn’t utilized correctly, is off to Columbia-the staff is quite pleased

Was he a transfer ? Who wound up at Columbia ? Were we involved ? Is it the Columbia staff that is pleased ?

Patrick Harding was a 6’8/6’9 PF from Bryant who was in the portal
I think we were looking at him, by some accounts
He committed to Columbia tonight, and yes they think he is a steal and fills an immediate need

Harding is a rebounding machine. He was second in the country last year in R/40 and DR% (behind only Kevin Marfo in both categories).

For those wondering what he does . . . among other things, Ferry has been north of the border multiple times since last August, went hard after Lamaute in October, and obviously watching others..
Gotta like this development.

I guess we have to believe that “HC Nelson sealed it” , means what we hope it does.

If this comes together, and school is open and we have a season in 20-21, we might make the upper half next season But still speculation

I guess we have to believe that “HC Nelson sealed it” , means what we hope it does. Nelson's biggest recruiting test so far. Coulibaly in the paint at the defensive end would make us exponentially better.

Surprised we hadn't offered him prior to this unless we were waiting for go ahead from admissions.
