Keeping with the Las Vegas theme I say the odds are 3-2 in favor of them giving her a try out since they already identified her as the best available option in the draft. Perhaps. But there is a reasonable probability that there are other players available that they ranked higher. Don't forget that the players who were drafted 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, and 25-32 are all available since all were cut. Lauren was the 33rd pick. Also there are a number of players who were fairly high picks last year who also are not on rosters. Who wants to live in Sin City anyway. I hope it's not a lost year for Lauren with the European leagues either not playing or Covid making it too difficult for Foreign players to play. The lack of mitigation discipline you see all around is not encouraging for the world to return to normal anytime soon.

The odds of Lauren being on a WNBA roster this year are very, very small just as they were when she was drafted 33rd. Would love to see it happen but odds are her professional career will be in Europe.

...at least in the near term (for the time being).
