We were at open gym watching Tommy Haugh this week. The Mount, Vermont and Q have also offered, maybe Lafayette, too

According to VerbalCommits, Sean does have the 13 offers mentioned here, but as far as Fairleigh Dickinson being first, they are not listed among the 13. The list has the Holy Cross offer being the first of the 13 mentioned. VC often has incomplete info. Logan says his first offer was from FDU, fwiw.

Bube Momah announced on Twitter last night that he has committed to Lehigh. He had almost 20 offers including HC’s. Sounds like a nice pick up for the Hawks.

Logan specifically said that FDU was his first offer on his own twitter account: "Honored to have received my first Division 1 offer from Fairleigh Dickinson University— @fduknightsmbb

Let's hope that in this case "the first shall be last..."

Now, you see, I have a different take on this. After seeing the results since Ralph Willard days, he probably got his first offer from Holy Cross but just assumed that since his father attended Holy Cross that we dropped down to D-2 or D-3 and FDU was his first D-1 offer.

FDU is active early on with recruiting and I have no doubt they got in the first offer. Your interpretation, however, is certainly unique.

Former HC assistant Greg Herenda is the FDU coach

He is indeed and his athletes seem to love him. (I have a couple of graduate degrees from FDU and it is just a stone's throw from my home so I do hear from them occasionally.) I do wish we had them on the HC schedule every year.

OTOH, if you think a kid is good, you sign him; and you don't worry about your fan base saying "but he's got no ranking...." We'd hate to hear later, "I would have committed to Holy Cross if they committed to me, but...."

Interesting details, but what I hope and pray for is his signature on a LOI to play for Holy Cross!

Kid is 6'10" and 200 lbs.

I suspect hoops will have someone visiting for homecoming, if at all possible. Just out of curiosity, can a recruit take two official visits to the same school? Let's say a kid from Ohio visited in the summer on HC's dime. If he or she wanted to come back to see the campus when classes are in session, is HC allowed to pay for the trip?

Nelson hasn't made any publicized offers for two months. I may be misreading that, but could mean that he's pretty confident about our chances with Logan and/or Haugh at this stage.

Recruits can pay their own way as many times as they wish, but there is a limit on the number of paid trips they can accept. I believe it is limited to one paid trip per school.
