So unless there are different rules for different sports, BU athletics is out of jail starting Friday.

NU's soccer/baseball facility is in Brookline. Used to be their football venue too. Hockey's definitely in Boston, a block from campus.

Our two hockey teams have now lost 15 consecutive games (women 7 and the men 8) - ladies get a chance to get back in the win column today/tmro vs. UConn - they should be competitive with the Huskies

Make it 16 straight L’s (M plus W) with 1-0 loss - outshot 39-20. Last game of regular season tmro at home - let Dr. Vince know about this

I wouldn't lump the women's program's struggles in with the men's. Women are making some progress it would appear.

I wouldn't lump the women's program's struggles in with the men's. Women are making some progress it would appear. The women's program should be secure because they are in a desirable league with no pressure to build or rent a larger arena and their scholarships help offset football scholarships for equity purposes. The men's program is in deeper doo-do.

Holy Cross will be hosting Maine on Friday and Saturday. HC website doesn't have this news, but Maine's does.
The Friday game is Senior Day.

Holy Cross spots Maine a first period goal, then scores twice on power plays in the second, to take a 2-1 lead over the Black Bears.

FINAL. Holy Cross, 2-1. On Senior Day, senior defenseman, Allison Attea, scored the game-winner. Senior Antonia Matzka had an assist on the other.
Crusader goalie Jada Brenon had 41 saves.

Congratulations to Jada (but that many shots on goal do not speak well for the HC defenders). Nice to see the ladies add a game in the win column.

Holy Cross kills a penalty, then goes on the power play with a minute left, but can't capitalize.
1-1, end of OT.
