I hear Octave is playing well, could be the new leader of the team and yes, he can play multiple positions. Not as many positive or negative comments about the other transfers. That leaves us with Gates, Dorsey, Octave, Montgomery, Batchelder, Kenney, and Coulibaly, while we wait and see how Rabs, Lewis, Wilbar, Kirkwood, and Tse continue to develop. Fingers crossed as practice gets started. Does this mean you see Batchelder as being in the rotation from the get-go?

If Batchelder and Octave are both good PL players, we could be a .500 PL team. Gates is a man. Bo, Caleb, Dorsey all at least solid PL players. Maybe Louth emerges as a force. Nelson thinks Bo is going to take a big step forward this year. Hope he’s right.

Of course we're still a month and a half away from actual games. A lot can happen in 6 weeks

Yes, he could develop and get even better. It's not always negative despite recent seasons.

Che was offered yesterday by the Bonnies. I thought Che looked very good from video. I would be quite happy to get him if we were so fortunate. Is the AF xfer coming with 2 or 3 yrs of eligibility? Him at 3yrs with Batch and Nugent and if you got Che would give me some hope. Che picked up an offer from South Florida. Interesting that all of his 7 offers have come after graduating high school. I think I asked this before and forgot the answer. Can you still play on the AAU circuit after hs if you plan on going prep for a year? To put it another way, when are you no longer eligible to play AAU ball?

Once you've matriculated at a college? Or, signed an NBA contract?

I was thinking of the exposure he got on the AAU circuit this spring and summer after his senior of hoops was complete.

Tyler Perkins comes off the board to Penn. I believe he had the most offers, 20, of kids we have offered.

Based on some comments from a sleuther on the William and Mary board, Seth Joba appears to be getting some interest from Iowa.

Looks as if he has transferred from IMG to attend Long Island Lutheran in Brookville, Nassau county. Luhi has recently joined the top High School super conference with powers Montverde, Oak Hill, etc.

DMV Elite, (DC/MD/Northern VA), had Walsh on their 4th team All Maryland Team for 2022 which means he was in their top 40 players, all-classes, in Maryland.

We were wondering where Coach Ferry was yesterday; I guess we have our answer. Sounds like BU got a good one in combo guard Spenser Joyner from NJ. Missed his jr year due to shoulder surgery. Still got some nice offers from a group of mid-majors. Overcame a brain condition as a 12 year old that caused intense headaches and months-long hospitalization. Hospital bills and tuition at the Patrick School were paid for by Kyrie Irving.

According to Verbal Commits, HC offered a schollie yesterday to Carnegie Johnson, a 6’ point guard from NYC and Blair Academy. He is actually from Greenwich CT. Not sure how long he has been at Blair. Just read a very interesting story on the Johnson family which focused on CJ’s great-grandfather and his quest to find a better life for his family. I believe the GGF eventually became a professor at BC after serving in the military. Carnegie Johnson commits to Navy.
