We also have to keep in mind that the games are likely 32 min long so playing 18-19 min isn’t that low. Could be injury as well given the 6 missed games.

12 points for Lewis in the upset, including a reverse layup to give her team the lead with 3 minutes left.

There must have been impressive bling at that game or at least in the Parking lot. GV costs $33,750 and SF costs $51,650.

From the Wash Post: Georgetown Visitation’s players sprinted toward center court. As the final buzzer sounded in Sunday afternoon’s Independent School League championship game and their classmates spilled onto the court, wiping away tears seemed unreasonable. Unimpeded, they let the drops fall down their faces. Sunday’s 60-57 victory over top-ranked Sidwell Friends — in an overflowing and at times deafening Holton-Arms gym in Bethesda — was the biggest win in their high school careers and the type of upset that will not soon be forgotten. With a raucous second-half comeback, the No. 3 Cubs (23-5) captured an unlikely ISL AA title and stamped an asterisk on one of the greatest two-year runs that a D.C. area high school basketball team has put together.
“I’m overwhelmed and overjoyed,” said senior Simone Lewis, who finished with 12 points. “We’ve been working toward this for so long. We did it.”

I'd be willing to wager that the rule for squad members of both teams is on the order of "one zero less" than those tuition bills

If Meg started in front of Ashley last year, that's a good sign even though Meg is a year older of course. If the coaching staff can guide Meg to the same improvement that Lindsay made between frosh and soph seasons we'll be in high cotton next year.
Lindsay may be an outlier and deserves tremendous personal credit, but the example is front and center for Meg so that is a motivating factor that not all freshmen on all teams have.

Generally, it takes a year or two for a big to adjust to the college game, especially at our level. Lindsey was a shock, she really made a enormous leap, Meg actually played against stronger completion in HS, I think, in part she got squeezed out because of LB improvement. Next year should be interesting, somebody is going to be unhappy. Safikkanich may or may not see time, Bucknell is loaded with young bigs, Sullivan 6'4 & Klag 6'2 are current Frosh & Sullivan saw some meaningful mins. Time will tell.

Wright progressed during the season imo. She's capable improvement during the off season, too.
In a way it's good the minutes we lose to graduation are in the backcourt so additional minutes could be allocated to the front court without taking any away from our returning backcourt contributors.
It'll be interesting to see how a traditional backcourt heavy lineup can be adjusted to a front court heavy lineup if that's where the talent leads the coaching staff.

Should be interesting, tough to guess what will happen w/Cross' mins - MM has certainly shown a preference for guard play over forward play. Next year's starting 4 is pretty set, BPC, Allen, Berger & Flanagan - depending on what happens in the off season 5th starter could be Cara, Foreman, Donnelly or ?

It's very likely Sullivan will start next year. She is 6-4 and very athletic. Needs work on her post defense, as do many freshmen bigs. Klag, however, is a walk-on and may never play much. OTOH, she missed two years of HS ball with injuries, so it is possible she may develop more than the average walk-on. If Sofilkanich is not ready at the defensive end, the alternative against many teams may be to sometimes go small and play rising senior Kylee Reinbeau, who is just over 6-0 and fairly strong, in the middle. She missed much of this year with a couple of injuries. They also have 6-4 center Nicole Davis, a rising senior, who is unlikely to play meaningful minutes. She's had two ACL tears between HS and college and never developed.
